Should the Clips attempt to end this debacle of a season on a win or will the season end with 7 consecutive losses and better their chances to get within the top 2 picks of the draft lottery?

The Rockets still have playoff position to play for. The Worst that we can do in the draft lottery is the 6th position, the best we can do is 4th is some other teams win and lose.

Personally I would like us to win this game and end the season on a good note. Hopefully we'll play a complete game tonight, unlike last night. I hope that our team will be motivated.

I know you lottery fans will disagree, but I'm with Numba2 on this one. I wanna see us go out with a W...it would be fitting to close out this monstrosity of a season on a winning note and head into next season's "Clipper Resurgence" with a dub to look back on.

That said, it won't be the worst thing in the world if we lose either. I have to be at work by halftime, so if we lose, I'll probably only miss the worst half to watch. Yall say bye to Ralph & Mike for me :(

I hope you win also. I'm happy to see Brand back and playing and am stoked on Thornton.

48 more minutes and we can finally put this horrible season behind us. Regardless of how horrible it's been, I'm going to miss the opportunity to watch the Clippers each night. This year has been the fastest slow season I've ever seen in sports. So long 2007-08!

BTW I hope we lose tonight. It's all about those ping pong balls, baby.

Side note: the game is on Prime Ticket, not KTLA.

loflin, what you said-- this really has been the fastest bad season ever. It almost seems like it needs to drag along a little longer and isn't quite over...but I guess its better that we end it now! So adios and good riddance 07-08!

Clippers were down 17-35 at the end of the 1st quarter but have outscored the Rockets 13-6 in the first 5 1/2 minutes of the 2nd quarter. Clippers have the chance to cut the deficit into single digits.

Mobley-Parker-Thornton-Powell-Brand got the start for the 39th different starting lineup this season.

If we had 39 different starting line ups that means its pretty much a different starting line up every other night.................

We played a bad first quarter, better in the second. There's one more half of our season to go. It's funny to think that things were so much different last year and two years ago.

Rockets up 58-42

58-42 Houston at the end of the half. Clippers got off to a nice start but still no match for the Rockets. Maggette is having a good shooting night Thornton has been struggling and EB is playing decently. Maggette with 18 has 2 points less than the entire starting lineup. Guys are going to have to step up if they're going to make this game remotely competitive.

Powell has hit 3 jumpers in this third quarter, he's looking good

60-78 at the end of the 3rd. Powell looked pretty good for us in the 3rd as he knocked down a few jumpers with ease. He has 10 & 10.

Not such a good fourth quarter so far, our only points are EB's 2 free throws, 80-62 Rockets

Rockets win 93-75. It was a rough night for the Clippers and most of the players struggled. EB was 5-14 from the field but flawless from the line. He ended with 18/12/3. We've gotten the opportunity to see him for 8 games this season and I'm thankful for that, because it certainly was a moral victory. He looked great for how long he has been out and even with him playing out of position. Put him next to Kaman 2.0 next season and I'm loving that tandem. Thornton experienced one of those inconsistent games tonight. I was really hoping to see him end the season strong, possibly with another 20 point game and leading us along with Brand and Maggette to one last win. Maggette's jersey was off before he left the court. Was that the last time we see him in Red, White & Blue? He had a solid game (22 points, 6 rebounds, 2 3's) for us sans the 4 to's.

This season does seem like it flew by even though it was long and hard. There's got to be some changes made for next year if we're going to make some noise. We have some good core pieces but some obvious weaknesses. Those weaknesses kind of outweigh our strengths. We officially tie with the Knicks for the 5th spot so we'll have a coin toss with them if neither team wins a top 3 pick.

^ 8) Even if we can't get Rose we still have a shot at Mayo or Gordon with the 4th or 5th pick

Well know we can have our offseason talks and everyone can put in their opinions about what we should do.
