Blazer fan here but HUGE fan of Al Thornton as well

was contemplating what I would try and do if I was your GM

1) hope you get at least the third pick- snag Mayo

2) trade Maggette for TJ Ford & Humphries

resulting Lineup

Ford...Knight
Mayo...Mobley
Thornton...Ross
Brand...Humphries
Kaman...Powell

Thoughts?

3) Field offers for Brand.....goal= add front court depth and possibly upgrade the backup PG spot

were not going to be able to trade maggette because he is going to opt out this offseason more than likely.

The Clippers would need a lot more than front court depth and a backup PG in exchange for Brand.
