Round 2 kicks off Saturday evening with the Magic & Pistons followed by the Hornets & Spurs.
Lakers vs Jazz

Hornets vs Spurs

Celtics (or Hawks) vs Cavaliers

Magic vs Pistons
Who do you have in the second round?
My picks are:
Lakers in 6
Spurs in 6
Celtics in 7 (or Cavs in 5*)
Detroit in 7
Oddly enough I'll be pulling for Utah, New Orleans, Cleveland & Orlando.
*if Atlanta pull out the upset

I think the Lakers/Jazz series doesn't go 7, try 6 or maybe even 5.
Lakers in 6
New Orleans in 6
Boston in 5
Detroit in 7 (GO MAGIC!)

Wooooooooooooo
Hornets dismantled the Spurs in the 2nd half. The Hornets strong defense helped contribute to Duncan having possibly the worst game of his career...ouch. It's one game but Pop and the Spurs will regroup for game 2 and I kind of expect the Spurs to win Monday.

Hmmmmm
Hornets are really making the playoffs exciting. I'm loving their play on Defense. I knew they had the tools and had high hopes for them, but I still managed to underestimate them. Paul is that dude. Keep up the good work.

I say either team in 6 or 7, I think the Lakers and Celtics are pretty evenly matched.

Except for KG vs. Pau. KG's 24pts dominated last night compared to Pau's numbers. From getting off rebounds off misses to put back a couple of dunks to shooting mid range perimeter shots. He had a good game last night. Although it's only one game of this matchup, Pau needs to step his game up if he wants the Lakers to go all the way. I know this is his first NBA Finals, but Pau needs to either man up or go home.
Also, Pierce played a well deserved game after getting injured in the early third quarter. The way he came back from the locker room to the arena was inspiring to his teammates and the Celtics fans to boot as Pierce went on to score 22pts in the win. Ray Allen also added 19pts in the win for the Celtics as they take game 1 on Thursday night. Game 2 wil be on Sunday at TD Northbank Arena.

I'm not really a fan of the Lakers or Celtics but I just saw that the Celtics wanted it more. It was a good series and like I said either team was going to get it in 6 or 7. I've always been a fan of defense and that reason is because defense can win you a championship. Boston's D was all over the Lakers.
I was real happy when we had a pretty good defense that year we went to the playoffs. I'm still waiting for our chance to make it to the finals. We have some work to do to get our team to a championship level.
