I can't wait for the Olympics to see how Team USA does this summer in Beijing in the 2008 Olympics. How does everyone see us doing?

Here's who I would bring to Beijing (let's see who you would bring too).

PG: Kidd/Paul/Deron
SG: Kobe/Redd
SF: LeBron/Wade
PF: Carmelo/Amare/Bosh
C: Howard/Chandler

Honorable Mentions: Billups, Tayshaun Prince, Brand

With this roster, we got plenty of depth in the front and back court, and could pose matchup problems with the right five in at once. Chandler gives us that defense first/shot blocking mentality, and Redd gives us the shooter we need for our team.

Sadly, I don't think Brand will be playing come time for the Olympics. He needs the work, but I just don't think he'll get called up for the competition. You could definitely replace him with Chandler or Bosh, but I just don't see it happening.

Having Wade, Paul, and Amare coming off the bench is fantastic.

What's your thoughts?

The fact that Adam morrison and JJ Redick are even considered for the team means this list needs to be updated.

I would never have Anthony as my power forward. I'd rather have James there, then put Iguodala instead of Wade, Brandon Roy instead of Redd and Chris Paul insterad of Kidd as the starter next to him. My lineups:

The big men suck because they have no IQ to defend the basket w/ the exception of Oden, but he won't be there. This is my team and I'm sticking to it. I'd want to have David Blatt as my head coach because he's currently unemployed and knows the international game right now better than any coach the US has on their roster, with the exception of D'Antoni.

EB said that he would not be joining them this summer so that he can focus on the Clippers upcoming season. I'd love to see him represent the US and and be an Olympic Gold Medalist but relieved at the same time that he won't be participating this summer.
