B-Diddy is a Clipper!

Baron Davis shocked the Warriors by opting out of his contract on Monday. Imagine their surprise now.
NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein that the guard reached a verbal agreement with the Clippers on Tuesday night and will sign a new multiyear contract with Los Angeles after the leaguewide moratorium on signings and trades is lifted July 9.
Davis was in line to make $17.8 million in the last year of his deal with the Warriors, but after telling the team that he wanted to stay, opted out at the last minute.
Sources told ESPN.com that Davis, 29, will receive a five-year deal worth an estimated $65 million.

congratulations and now you guys can resign Brand and now have a pretty good team with some good depth. Now all you need is a good defensive 3 point specialist at the 2 guard.

Gratz to you guys for a great signing. I think Baron will work wonders in a Clipper uniform. LA Times says its a 5yr 50mill deal.

That is true but you usually want that in one person so you dont have liability at either in.
examples of players like these are Morris Peterson and James Posey who both shoot threes and play D.

Congratulations Clipper fans. It's great to see some good fortune finally come to a franchise that has been through so much. Hope you guys emerge as strong contenders and give all teams in the Western Conference a huge beating and you guys fight the Lakers for LA supremacy.

^ I believe its 5 yrs/$65mil. But it don't matter. MY DREAMS JUST CAME TRUE! Never in my time as a Clippers fan has anything of this importance happened....I'll be walkin' on air for the rest of the week, for sure.
