Some highlights
Falk: "Mike Dunleavy is the quasi-GM there" (indictment of Baylor, emasculating him)
"Mike told me that Sterling would be just as happy if Brand took the offer as if he didn't. Brand was insulted by this, considering how much he has given to the organization."
"Mike was the one really pulling for Brand but the owner just wasn't behind him."
Brand: "There was no under the table agreement with Baron Davis, I want to make that clear."
"My intention was to stay with the Clippers."
"Falk spoke directly with the Clippers" (refuting reports that he refused their calls in the final hour."
"Ed Stefanski (76ers GM) made an offer and they (Clippers) didn't want to match it."
Funny stuff. Brand's first words out of his mouth "I first of all want to thank the Cli...76ers management for getting this deal done.

Sounds like he was considering leaving since he said that "phily was on the radar" last season. Once he opted out, he called Falk at 12:01 and said, "Phily hasn't called yet?". He said Falk kept him up to date and that Phily did call at 12:30 and it took 8 sleepless days to get the deal done. EB said his wife and mom are happy about it, and Falk said that EB's wife is expecting...so it looks like it was a family move in my opinion. EB probably wasn't too happy with Clipper management giving him an ultimatum.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the story bout Sterlin is legit, not saying what Brand did is right but put yourself in Brand shoe and see how you would feel if the owner could careless if you take his deal or not and on top of that if Brand didn't opt out Bdiddy would never happened either. Time to overpay Jsmooth

I wouldn't believe a word Falk says. Not a word. Could be true could be a lie. We'll probably never know what really went down.

Re: Brand 76ers press conference...telling
There's 3 sides to every story.
Falk made it his mission to put all the blame on the Clippers because Sterling and co. have a reputation that precedes them (regardless of how things may have changed in recent years). He took shots at everyone and threw Dunleavy under the bus. I don't buy Falk at all. BB is his puppet so I am not buying all of what he saying. I personally think that he was tired of playing for the Clips anyway.
