Josh Smith or Emeka Okafor

I don't want either but if I had to pick, I'd take Okafor.

Joshie is so sick, Emeka is plan B, looks like the Clippers are going on the cheap.

Man have some of you never seen Josh play? I really think Atlanta will match any offer, but
dam,n try to rip him, he'll be better than your jilted lover E Brand will be, that's how good Josh Smith will be, and playing with BD his #1 target.

What would make you think the Clippers are "going on the cheap", unless you think Okafor will come cheaper than Smith. Dunleavy said at the SL game last night that the Clippers are willing to spend all the money they have, that Sterling gave him a blank check, and that Dunleavy would not be pleased to have players in the class of Fazekas or Paul Davis as his starting PF next season. I think it will take a $15 million per year deal to get either of their teams not to match.

Smith has no post up game and is redundant with Al Thornton in the lineup. I'm not a fan of his shot selection and I don't think Smith is as mature or as smart on the floor as Okafor. Okafor isn't a big post player either, but he's fundamentally sound and personally I would just trust him more than I would Smith.

Before pursuing Randolph who is owed 3 yrs / $15mil per year...I would hope that the clips at least try and throw a 5 year / $14 mil per year contract offer to either Okafor or Smith.

Bobcats intend on keeping Okafor:

β€œI don't know if concerned is the word,” Higgins said, when asked about the Clippers. β€œIt's reality. If an offer sheet comes across the board, then the decision is on us.”

Okafor but I'd still be happy if we somehow snatched up Smoove.

I think Okafor can be had if we overpay. Smith not to much.

I switch my vote to Smith. After watching Al and EG last night, adding another superb athlete is starting to seem like a really good idea.\

BTW, I didn't realize Baron Davis has made the playoffs 6 times in his career as Dunleavy pointed out last night. I'm starting to have a really good feeling about next year.
