Is this possible? Just wondering.

Say, if the clippers were able to get Randolph for Mobley + Thomas + 2nd rd pick.
Wouldnt that still leave you all with 12 million plus and salary cap space??
So, couldnt yall go out and steal iggy from philly, like philly stole brand?
I dont think philly would be able to match the offer sheet.
That would give yall and awesome starting 5.
Davis
Iggy
Thorton
Randolph
Kaman
Of course yall still would have to bring in some extra role players, to back them up.

One problem with your theory. You have too many players who need the ball to be effective in games. One or two players will not be happy in that situation.

Thats true
I was just wondering
It would be a great team, if they could commit to team basketball.
But what are those odds?

Just like the Mavericks in the 2002-2003 season, 0 out of a million that it would work. lol

The last thing we would need if we brought in Iggy is Randolph.
Actually, the last thing the Clipps need in general is a guy who has the nickname "Z-Bo".

I was just thinkin
But iggy doesnt need the ball to be affective, he started his career with Iverson.
So he got used to playing off the ball, and miller sort of dominated the ball last year also.
Idk, about thorton, never really got the chance to see him play.
Only Davis and Randolph would need the ball to be affective.

He is restricted so we can match any offer and would because Comcast has deep pockets. I am guessing the Clips could possibly swipe Josh Smith though if they make a really high offer.
I know if we struck out on Brand we were probably going to offer Josh the 14-15 million and put the pressure on the Atlanta ownership which seems shaky.
