Clippers rookie guard Eric Gordon will miss the remainder of the NBA Summer League with a strained left hamstring, according to ESPN.com.

He suffered the strain Saturday in a loss to the Charlotte Bobcats.

The injury, while not believed to be serious, rules out Gordon's scheduled showdown Wednesday night with O.J. Mayo of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Looks like Gordon is going to be sitting out for now. The injury shouldn't be too serious. It's too bad that he's out, I wanted to see more of him.

I like the abilities that he has shown in the games so far. I really love his effort on defense. IMO the most disappointing thing about the injury is that he struggled with his shot in the first 2 games, I would have loved to see what kind of damage he could do with when his shot is falling. We'll see that in preseason though.

I was really look forward to Gordon VS mayo on wednesday night. Fortunately for us clippers fan he looked pretty good in his last 2 games. His shot may have not been falling as previoulsy mentioned, but I was more impressed with how effortlessly and fluid his shot looked from long range. I think Gordon is going to be a stud.
