Warriors match on Azubuike
Blame Mo Evans and possibly the Hawks who may have made him a better offer

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
If anything, id blame the ATLANTA Hawks for NOT paying Childress. By him bolting, it freed up some $$$. It sucks.. I was looking forward to Mo on the W's and Buike on the Clipps! Sorry folks!

Wow, and we have even less cap room than we had before the Hart trade yesterday. This is very disappointing. At least do the Hart trade after he's not gonna cost the team a half million in cap space.

I'm lost here.....what does signing Mo Evans and the Hawks have to do with the Warriors matching Azubuike?

So now what? Pargo is still available. Do we have enough cap space to get him?

Warriors had a deal with Evans to come in at 3 years/6.4 mil. Evans then backed out, it's believed to be because the Hawks, after losing Childress and seeing how little Evans was signing for, offered him a better deal

Daaaaaaaaaaaamn. Evans pulled a mini-Brand and we got screwed. Oh well, all is not lost, there's still some good (cheap) talent out there. I was lookin' forward to Nigerian Sexy in a Clips uni though

Giricek, Bonzi & Q Ross are the only guys I believe the Clippers can afford to fill the role Azubuike would have had with the team. Too bad the Hawks are pathetic enough to let Childress go to Greece, and now bully around the Warriors by overpaying for 4th tier talent. I wish the Clippers stole Josh Smith from them after all.

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
Is it possible for us to get Pargo?
He's a true pg and he was lighting it up from 3 during the playoffs. Why can't we offer him the same thing we offered Azubuike?

I'm really disappointed about Azubuike. I'm for signing Bonzi and Ross.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
Damn that sucks! Pargo wants a 3 year contract from the articles I've seen. We have like what.. 2M in cap space now after the Hart trade? Let's just resign Ross or perhaps Bonzi if he's willing to take a small contract, and get another big man for the min.(maybe just resign Davis as well if he recovered well from his injury) and we should be set. I was looking forward to getting Azubuiki. :/

Jeremy Pargo is a true pg and we can get him in next years draft; his brother, Jannero is a true sg in a pg's body, but I like him none the less. He's instant offense off of the bench.

Actually he would be [i]British Sexy[i]; KA, like Ben Gordon was born in London, England.
Per wiki:
Kelenna David Azubuike (born December 16, 1983 in London, England, UK)

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
Let's go after Charlie Vilanueva. Clippers have the cap space to absorb almost his entire contract. I put a trade proposal on the trades board. I urge Clipper fans to hit that board with some ideas of your own with what the Clips should do with approx $2.5 million cap space. Check my trade thread out while you're there and leave some input.

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
Disappointed that Mo Evans screwed us. What a **** off season this has become. I'm hoping now we use our cap-space on a 1 year deal for Jamaal Magliore. After that, I say sign Quinton Ross to a veteran minimum contract and we'll be set. ****, I wish we would've know about this sooner so the Clips could've offered Matt Barnes a contract.

Re: Warriors match on Azubuike
Pargo would be fantastic. I love his range and how he plays the game. Baron and Pargo in the backcourt at times would be deadly.
