Who is going to start for LAC next year?
Who would you rather see start?
Career guy vs. the future?
Just something I was wondering about. Sorry I'm just a dumb troll.

this isnt even a question. id much rather see thornton start. i love davis, but dunleavy has had thornton on his team for a year now and hes also much younger. right now id say thornton is better than davis. davis in his prime is better than thornton now but when thorntons career is over, thorntons prime >>>>>> davis' prime.

Thornton. He's going to do much better this year since he still has a lot to prove to people. A lot of people are still underrating him.

Thornton is our starting SF with Ricky D getting all the backup minutes. No need to think otherwise.

Thornton has to be the starting SF...that's what was intended before this offseason and that's how it should be starting next season. Davis will be a great offensive spark off the bench. Thornton should be a permanent fixture for this team for years to come. His chance at NBA stardom starts now.

Thornton for both.
He still has areas in his game that he needs to hone, but he should have a really nice season. I've been reading from other teams' fans that they're expecting 13-15 pts out of him. He was averaging about 17 in the 2nd half of last season. I think he'll produce quite a bit with having a real point guard and being relied upon to be a top 3 option on our team. He also won't be playing out of position like he was last season. I'm not sure if he'll put up 20ppg but I am expecting around 18.

I'm surely glad to see that everyone is on the same page on this subject --- and surely Dunleavy will be as well.
Thornton is so good that he well deserves to be nurtured and encouraged and allowed to develop and learn by getting the minutes and making his own mistakes, and at the same time feeling the support from the organization that comes from starting. No way this isn't going to pay off bigtime.
