Mike Dunleavy Interview

Post#1 » by mkwest » Fri Aug 8, 2008 6:05 am

KLAC

Prior (third of the way in) to Dunleavy coming on (last 10 mins or so) they talk about Randolph & Josh Smith offer sheet. Even a few compliments.

When Dunleavy comes on he talks about the current make up of the team, Davis' role and Brand's role in recruiting Davis.

It was a good interview. I liked his quote about EB.

Also, it's funny how no one on any of the Clippers forums is calling him "Dumbleavy" anymore. Oh, how things change in a couple months.

It's because Dunleavy doesn't have to coach yet, he's made some good off season moves. I would still like to see us hire a new head coach in the near future and have Dunleavy go to the FO.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I'm going to Dunleavy a chance this season to see what he does with the team that he's put together. He does some questionable things at times, but he has helped bring this team up to date for the most part. So if he does nothing else, I'll give him credit for that. I do agree with seeing him eventually slide over to a FO position in the near future if a new coach is brought in after his contract ends.
