I think Beasley will win it easily. I wouldn't be surprised if our boy Eric Gordon gets some votes for 6th man and maybe even a few ROY votes.

Good to see you're back Ryan.
I think it will be Beasley closely followed by Oden.

I expect Oden to win it and lead the Blazers into the playoffs.

Oden isn't a rookie
Anyways, I'll be pulling for E-Go and OJ. co-Rooks?

Technically, he is. He's eligible for ROY and will play on the Rookie team during all-star Saturday.

Beasley or Balyless (in that order).

In that case, I hope his 40 yr-old looking *** don't get it!!!

Its got to be somebody on a bad team that gets lots of PT and shots. Beasley is a good bet.

There are a lot of good rookies this year between Rose, Oden, Beasley, and Mayo. I'm going with Mayo as rookie of the year.

I agree with jgustav --- if Oden is really back in peak form, I expect him to take it.
Of course, a lot of the fun of it is that you never can tell.
Who saw Brandon Roy coming?

It'll be Greg Oden easily if he is healthy and plays the entire season, if he isn't healthy then i'd say its between Michael Beasley and Kevin Love who will both have very good numbers and their respective teams will have nice improvements in W's & L's.
I can't see OJ Mayo getting ROTY simply because the Grizzlies will be lucky to win 22 games in a year when three other rookies figure to post big numbers while making their teams matter.
Kevin Durant was able to win ROTY only because Al Horford didn't average a few more points per game. If Horford had gone for 14 PPG, 10 RPG he'd have won the award but the gap between a 20 PPG rookie with hype and a 10/10 guy was too much.

I think this will be a great year for impact rookies. I think Oden will win a close race, with Beasley second, and Rose third. I'm hoping EG is on the all rookie team too.

I'm all for Gordon making the All Rookie team, but man that's going to be some tough competition.

I forgot about Oden being elgible for this years ROY because of his injury.
I say if the Blazers make the playoffs, Oden is the ROY.
