Seems like the Celtics have gone and picked up Darius Miles.

I just want him to play for 10 games to screw with the Blazers.

Looks like the Celts are looking for a cheap replacement for Posey. It will be interesting to see what D's got left in the tank. I guess he might be useful if he's finally developed a jump shot while he's been out of the league. I wonder if their Miles and Q-Rich can stay healthy enough to play against each other in a Clipper reunion out east.

So happy this dude found his way back to the L. I'll be pulling for him on every possession that's for sure.

I hope that D is able to defy the odds and prove the doctors wrong. I hope he is able to come back and play even if it's just for 10 games lol nah jk. Boston has some strong veterans and I hope that they're able to give him the guidance that he needs to turn it around. He's been given another chance and I hope he makes the most of it.

I'm surprised at his progress. From the articles, they said some doctors said that his micro-fracture surgery was the worst that they've ever seen, and that he has a high chance of needing a knee replacement(s) in the future. How does he go from that, to being able to play at an NBA level?
I've seen Jay Williams play in a charity game a few years ago, and he looked like he could be a decent third string or maybe even back up point guard. A guy like him hasn't been signed, but Darius, who's last public picture seems to be that one where he's in that brown suit and looks like Rick Ross, has been signed by the Celtics. If he was still able to play, why didn't he keep himself in shape?
Maybe this is just a strategy by the Celtics to mess up the Blazers?
Anyways, it's always nice when injured players come back. *Fist bumps own head*

A chubby D-Miles...never thought I'd see the day. Actually, I haven't seen the day, so if you have a link to that Rick Ross photo, hook it up!

If it's for the minimum, then it's a low risk high reward pickup. I'd like to see Darius get back on his feet.

Good luck to D Miles, its been years since I've seen him play. playaloc916 brought up a good point how doctors said that his career could be over and over a summer he is back and signed by an NBA team. Time will tell how long Miles stays on the Celtics.

Here's a link to the pick. Don't you think there's a little resemblance?

Haha man that's an old pic back when he was with the Blazers. I'm sure he's a bit more fit now.

I miss Q. Even though he's pretty much a chucker. I really liked him back then. I had a fake D-Miles and Q jersey back in the days. The only Clipper "jerseys" I ever owned. Stupid things were suppose to be authentic, but hey that's what I get for buying off ebay.

Q was my favorite player back then, until he left the team for the Suns. It was for the best, he didn't turn out to be anything special.

^ Me too, it was tough to see him go, but as it turns out...we didn't miss out on too much.

Lol, know I'm getting flashbacks of my NBA 2K3 game, where I remember both Q-Rich and D. Miles would do the head bump thing whenever they dunked or scored. And Olowakandi sucked big time in the game. Missing layups and everything, just like in real life.
