I'm sure most of you know that NBA/College players get together every summer playing pickup games, some of those scrimmages being at UCLA. I myself haven't been to watch, but I've been reading about some updates on our players over the past few weeks. The latest news is that most of the Clippers were there this week practicing together. Thornton, 3D, Jordan, Taylor, Cat, Hart & Thomas were all in attendance. It wasn't mentioned, but I'm sure Dunleavy and the coaching staff were there as they have been throughout the summer.
Check out Clips Nation if you want to read about some of the earlier workouts as well.

Re: UCLA Pick-up Games
This is one of if not the best news I've heard all offseason, this is great. I would have liked it to have been all the Clipper players but I realize that maybe something came up. Must have been extra nice for B-Diddy with his new team in his old home at UCLA.
I very surprised and impressed by TT, Ricky, and Cat showing up, this may be a sign of true dedication to the team this season. Overall great stuff.
Come one Novak, EG, J-Will, and Skinner try to manage some early session with the team.

This is very encouraging. From what I hear, Ricky Buckets and Big Al Thornton are tearing it up. And I love the fact that they're putting all the Clips on one squad for chemistry purposes. Hopefully the rest of the guys (Novak, Skinner, J-Will) can make it out there. It really will make a difference to have all these guys getting a 2 months instead of 1 to prepare for the season.

Re: UCLA Pick-up Games
These pickup games have been going on forever. Back in the early 90's (when I was at UCLA) we would see all kinds of pros and college players. Lakers and Clippers mostly, and a lot of ex UCLA and SC players. Got to see Magic a bunch of times. My favorite guy to watch back then: Randy Woods ! The little man was great in those games, but he could never get it done in the NBA.
