Clipper Board Fantasy Basketball Thread

It's that time of year again. Invites have been sent out to returning owners via e-mail and new users are encouraged to join up. The league is being carried over from last year, so this year should be a lot of fun with bragging rights up for grabs. The league info is pasted below. If anybody has issues with the draft time, please post your conflict in this thread. I would like to try to accommodate everyone so that we can all be at the live draft. Also, this year we will have an on-going thread dedicated to our fantasy league where we can talk trash, talk trades, talk anything about our league. Should be fun.

I got an email about it and I already signed up. I'm ready to go, hopefully I finish higher than I did last season.

I'm trying to have a worst to first season. I don't think I've come in last in any fantasy league except for ours last year. Pretty embarrassing. I'm going to have to come out hard this year.

I'm thinking about joining. I've tried fantasy basketball and didn't like it, but it was a head-to-head format league, so.. yeah, I'm thinking. =p

I'd join, but I'm not too active with this stuff anymore.. Gaming takes too much of my time.

What's good about this league is that it's an 82 game league. Meaning that there isn't much maintenance required. You draft your team, and basically leave it as is unless an injury occurs or you want to make a waiver pick up or bench somebody while being still being able to remain competitive. It will obviously help your chances of winning if you put more work into it, but it's not like fantasy baseball where you have to update your lineup every day.

It's a good possibility. I'm wondering where some ex-Clippers will fall.

Alright alright I'm in.

Get ready to see me win if I'm active. I use to play this fantasy stuff a lot back in the days.

Good to see you decide to join Fishy.
I'm glad to see most of everyone from last year join, and we have some new faces. It should be fun.

I have a feeling that who ever is doing auto draft is going to be the guilty party.

Unfortunately, that will probably be me...unless I rank my players so that this "Brand" character is at the bottom of the list where he belongs. But seriously who works Sundays anymore? Jeez.

Glad to see the league is filled out this year, hopefully that will create some competition this year around.

Unless you call watching football all day on Sunday to see players on your fantasy football team score, work.
