Re: TJ Simers
man, at least quote so people don't have to click on that link. don't want people at the times to actually think he has a fan base.
I don't know what to do with myself now that baseball has been reduced to Philly and Tampa, so I'm standing in the hallway outside the Clippers locker room at Staples Center talking to Baron Davis trying to see whether he's got what it takes to electrify the city the way Manny Ramirez did.
That's when the big stiff from Denver walks by. You remember the guy who looked just dreadful trying to shoot the basketball, couldn't score against the Lakers in the playoffs last season, and now Marcus Camby is with the Clippers. But then where else would you expect him to be playing?
We haven't even met, and yet holy Tim Thomas, we're exchanging unpleasantries as he runs by, his final word an obscene one. Maybe he knows I once worked in Denver, Camby still bitter at everyone and anything having to do with Denver because the Nuggets jumped at the chance to dump him. Whatever his reason for calling someone a name, how great is that? Obviously, he's no Elton Brand, but just when it looked as if we might never see the disagreeable likes of KevinBrown, Kenny Lofton or JeffKent around here again, Page 2 gets the guy who can't shoot from Denver.
Can't wait to talk to him after every game about the two shots he took and why they didn't go in....

Re: TJ Simers
I didn't take too kindly to what he said. He should have never wrote this article, seems like he was forced to write something and this was the result.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Re: TJ Simers
TJ Simers is my sworn enemy for life, and he knows I'm coming for his job, so he's trying to be controversial and shocking to save himself. The result? Petty.
A disgrace, a tool, a joke...all descriptions of Simers that I support.

We have to start the season off strong and build from there, we have to pull every trick out the book to make sure we beat the Lakers.

I have never cared for Simers (that's putting it lightly) so I won't put much into whatever he has to say. He lives to incite negativity.

Re: TJ Simers
.
This guy Simers sounds utterly desperate to make some kind of an impact with someone or other, somewhere, and he appears to have very little in his arsenal to work with, so he ends up churning out this kind of baseless vitriol to go under his byline.
The poor guy. If he had any actual sources, any respect in this part of the community he covers, and any true depth and breadth of knowledge on these subjects, he could be producing thoughtful and interesting journalistic pieces instead of this sad floundering stuff.
Too bad that he needed to take Camby's bad mood so very personally. Hey, it's all about you, Simers.
Anyway, it's not as if anyone will take this seriously.
