Davis exited early in the second quarter and did not return in the Clippers' 113-103 overtime loss at Staples Center. He is not expected to travel to Utah for tonight's game.

Well that kills all the hyping he tried to do when he can't even stay healthy to lead his tropps into battle.

Plus it was a dumb move that got him hurt lol Wow just when you try to rebuild the S*** falls back down.

And will somebody please get another PG for this team I see why J-Will left. J-Hart is not getting it done and MT isn't ready. Hopefully now MD will actually play Eric.

Maybe 1-3, I think we can steal one game in the Utah series, maybe both. I know we don't normally ever win in Utah, but they don't have their PG either, so, thankfully we're in luck again like how Melo was out with the Nuggets (although that didn't necessarily meant an easy win...). We can pull one if Kaman screws his head together. If not, might as well start Paul Davis.

No Deron but Boozer and Millsap will just manhandle our frontcourt.

It's not for certain that we will lose. Any team can beat anybody on a given night, this is the NBA and it has happened many times. I know we are all frustrated and disappointed but our team will get better and things will get right in time. It's really unfortunate how Baron got hurt last night. We just have to play hard with out him and have others step up. This might actually help us in the future, it gives others who wouldn't normally play more playing time and when needed they may be able to step up.

We showed that we were capable of playing well for a little bit with out Baron. We just have to bring it tonight. Remember people we still have 80 more games to go.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Your team can win at Utah, as ^ said, but you will have a tough time.
Jason Hart is horrible, he has a -25 yesterday with him at the floor.
He was the first reason we sucked in our first 2 months last season.

Playing a back to back game on the road against Utah without Davis and Camby, the Clippers have a less than 1% chance of winning. Yes, Jason Hart is a 3rd string PG at best. I don't know why they traded Brevin Knight for him, it probably had a lot to do with how Knight got along with his teammates and Dunleavy. Knight isn't an above average backup PG, but he is better than Hart and had a cheaper contract.

I think 0-3 is very realistic. Utah is almost the best at Home Record and the Clippers is not the elite team that can win in this situation.
Hope BD can return less than a month

I hope Dunleavy plays Gordon more than 2 minutes and If Hart is not producing , gives taylor more time as well. Eric Gordon might have been able to score last night during the clippers 4th qtr scoring drought. I was hoping to see Novak hit a couple of threes but he didnt even play.

I thought it was the 07-08 season again yesterday. I was sitting in section 209 getting flash backs of how the Clips couldnt score last season.

I hope LA plays with confidence and defensive energy tonight.
You are either doing or not doing .

Another injury for Clippers' Baron Davis
His sore left hip takes him out of the lineup, and he's still nursing his sprained left ring finger.
By Lisa Dillman

November 2, 2008

Reporting from Salt Lake City — Now for the obligatory injury update.

Clippers point guard Baron Davis remained home in Los Angeles, having suffered another injury. This time, it was a sore left hip taking him out of the lineup, and he hasn't even come close to recovering from his sprained left ring finger.

It appears as though Davis will also miss Monday's game against the Jazz at Staples Center.

The next game for the Clippers after that: the Lakers on Wednesday.

"It's probably going to be three or four days and we'll kind of re-evaluate," Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy said. "I guess tomorrow we'll know a little bit more about where he's at."

Davis suffered the injury early in the second quarter and did not return in the Clippers' overtime loss to the Nuggets on Friday night.

"He took a hard hit," Dunleavy said. "We'll have to wait and see. I don't think there's anything structurally wrong. So that's the good news. Obviously comes at a bad time for us."

Understatement, thy name is Clippers.

"Without him, right now we struggle to get the easy baskets," Dunleavy said. "He has that ability to attack the rim and create great looks and easy buckets for his teammates. Besides that, he's one of the top steals guys in the league. There's so many different ways he can impact a game. It makes it tough."

Walking wounded II

Marcus Camby put down his new musical offering of Young Jeezy in the dressing room before the game, and patiently answered the same old questions about his heel.

If he's getting tired of talking about it, well, Camby does a good job of hiding it.

"If things keep progressing, I'll have a chance to get out there on Monday," he said. "I feel like it [the pain] is tolerable."

Marcus Camby (bruised heel) will be listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz, while Baron Davis is doubtful. Davis (bruised hip) did not travel with the team to Utah and did not practice on Sunday, but did rehab work on the side and is said to be improving daily.

If I were guessing, I'd say both are in the lineup Wednesday versus the Lakers. Camby has a chance of playing Monday, but don't expect much since he's been out for so long.
