How good is it to see under the injury report: "NO INJURIES TO REPORT" for the Clippers????!! Haha.

Unfortunately, ya girl has class and then work, so I'll miss the game. It figures that I work with a crap load of laker fans...so hopefully this one goes well. And by "well" I mean...at least better than last time.

It was a beautiful thing to type :D

Hopefully you'll be able to give them a nice serving of humble pie.

Our role players really need to step up tonight namely Kaman, Thornton, Novak, PD, EJ, Mr. T, Ricky D and Skinner just to give us a fair shot @ winning this game because in our last meeting with the lakers their bench destroyed our 2nd team. Also, Baron and Camby need to contribute and play more than 2-3 qtrs of basketball.

Go Clippers!

I also work with a couple of lakers fans and bandwagoners. They do so much talking and I have to be the better person and not explode on them when the Clippers get BLOWN out by 38 points. Hopefully the Clips can get a win tonight.

keyes to the game : Defend, defend , defend! Dont give up too many 3's
Ball movement , dont over play Cat and TT, good shot selection.
Pray in the locker room
PLEASE do not lose by more than ten points

I thought that we had three point shooters like Gordon and Novak. Can we please play them?
Instead of going 7 minutes with out scoring , Please Dunleavy , make a few substitutions.
It was kinda sad to watch Milsap dominate that 4th quarter , If guys are too tired lets bring in bigs like Skinner or Davis3 to body up the Lakers bigs.
You are either doing or not doing .

I was also happy to see NO INJURIES for us, it's like been the first time since forever we haven't seen that. I do hope that this game goes much better than the season opener. I'm sure we still need time to get acclimated to each other but having Baron and Camby is a huge help. I hope that Dunleavy makes smarter coaching decisions in this game. I just want a good game tonight.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

It's always better to have something to base our hopes on --- like a healthy squad.
And another opportunity for them to play together and get a little more familiar and trusting with each other.

I'll be missing the first half. :/ No more night classes for me after this semester. Not during the nba season at least.

Kaman seems to be improving each game. Even with a healthy team I think a win would be based on his performance. We need an inside presence, and well.. Bynum just owns Kaman at the moment.

I really do hate to say it but I see another serious thrashing tonight (loss by between 20 & 25 points). The Lakers are really, really good and we are terrible. Bring on the Kings!!! (the other 0-4 disaster).

I don't care if we win, I just want us to show improvement game after game. I want my Laker friends to call me after the game and say any of the following:

"Hey, Eric Gordon is going to be good...he can shoot the lights out."
"Kaman and Camby are beasts down low, we couldn't get any second chance opportunities."
"I was surprised that the Clips let Maggette go, but now I know why...Al Thornton!"
"We couldn't keep Baron out of the lane. He kept making layups or driving and kicking it out to the open man."

That is so true but every once in a while you do come across a Lakers fan like that. I'm just hoping we do an exact reverse of our start last season. Remember we started out 4-0 and look what that did for us.

I don't even think I'll be paying much attention to the scoreboard tonight. I'm going to look to see how Camby and Kaman mesh and what this team has the potential to be.

You have seen the potential we have, if only we could contain it for four quarters. C'mon Q be a little more optimisic. I know we will do better than the last four games. If not I think it is time to seriously think about making a trade for Harrington.

I think you'll more likely be hearing:

"Why are the Clippers still in L.A.? This is OUR house!!!1111!!"
"Kaman is Bynum's bitch!"
"Baron Davis should've taken the MLE to play for the Lakers and win a ring instead."
"The Clippers are the JV team at Staples."

Yeah.

Everyone seemed to fit together, and fit together well for the stints they were on the court Monday night, but Kaman and Camby still don't know each others games on the defensive end. Both of them went after the same rebound, or tried to get a block, leaving the weakside wide open. Once they get that done, and we get some conditioning going, I expect us to go on a couple of nice win streaks.

Camby picks up his 2nd foul. Entering the game in his place is defensive stalwart Tim Thomas.

Baron knocks down his 2nd triple of the game to put the Clips up by 3. 21-18 with 5:18 left in the first. Both teams are shooting 3-4 from beyond the arc.

We need Camby to get back in the game real soon.
