The Free Eric Gordon Campaign

In lieu of the Election, I wish there was someway the fans can vote on who to play, we couldn't do any worse than Dumbleavy. This is getting out of hand, Dun's stubbornness has gone to new heights. This is the 7th pick we're talking about!! Not a 2nd rounder, the 7th pick! Here's a list of #7 picks since Lamond Murray was drafted in '94:

Lamond Murray - 32 mpg
Damon Stoudamire - 41 mpg
Lorenzen Wright - 25 mpg
Tim Thomas - 23 mpg
Jason Williams - 36 mpg
Richard Hamilton - 19 mpg
Chris Mihm - 20 mpg
Eddie Griffin - 26 mpg
Nene - 28 mpg
Kirk Hinrich - 36 mpg
Luol Deng - 27 mpg
Charlie Villanueva - 29 mpg
Randy Foye - 23 mpg
Corey Brewer - 23 mpg

Every single one of these guys got around 20 mins or more! Now take a look at who was drafted ahead of EJ this year:

Derrick Rose - 35 mpg
Michael Beasley - 33 mpg
OJ Mayo - 38 mpg
Russell Westbrook - 21 mpg
Kevin Love - 24 mpg
Danilo Gallinari - 6 mpg

Save for Danilo's minutes(which was expected), everyone else is getting good mins. I mean, pre-injury, Gordon was considered a top 3 talent, but he certainly isn't being treated like one! I don't care if Mobley's a vet. I don't care if Ricky D. is an established scorer. Cat's too old, and Ricky can't throw a pea in the ocean. So by logic alone, one should come to the conclusion, "let's play Gordon". Haha, apparently logic isn't in Dun's vocab.

It's a bit weird how Mike Taylor, who was picked after both Jordan and Gordon, has gotten more minutes than both of them combined. Gordon hasn't looked great with the very limited garbage minutes he's played, but I'd expect that since.. they're garbage minutes. I really hope things change soon.

I just want Gordon to play. How is he going to get better if he doesn't see the court more.

^ Yeah, there must be some reason dude's only getting garbage minutes. Maybe his minutes will increase with practice time; we're only 5 games in.

He needs to be brought along fairly slowly, he missed most of summer league with an injury so he just had the preseason as NBA experience.

This should now be the "Start Eric Gordon over Cat" campaign...

Once again, Dumbleavy played Mobley too much. Once again, Clips down 102-98, needed a quick shot, and Gordon, who gets his shot off with ease, was not in the game. Once again, it has become more obvious that Gordon should start over Cat.

I'm REALLY tired of this.
