Clippers records through first 5 games of the season
2005-06 4-1 end result 47-35 out in 7 games against the Suns in the 2nd round
2006-07 4-1 end result 40-42 9th seed and back to the lottery
2007-08 4-1 end result 23-59 bad season and the 7th pick
Current 0-5 ???????????????????????

We've started out well in the past and only made the playoffs one of these times that we had a fast start. There's plenty of season to play and hopefully tonight is when we can get our first win. Houston went to OT with the Blazers last night so hopefully they are a little winded and we can take advantage of that.

Let's Go CLIPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping the Rockets are a little sluggish too with their 3 best players logging 40+ mins last night. Brooks looked good coming off the bench, so hopefully we won't leave him open behind the 3 point line. Thornton has a tough matchup tonight going up against Artest. Last time Kaman and Yao went head to head, Kaman put up 20 & 13. I doubt we'll see that type of performance tonight, but I'll be happy if he & Camby make Yao's job a little more difficult.

Despite what Kaman may have done the last time they played the Rockets, he has a long history of being Yao's personal biatch (I distinctly recall Kaman putting up several "0-fers" in the past when going against Yao, zero points and/or zero rebounds). This could, once again, get ugly. I see a 10 to 15 point loss tonight.

I like the matchups at both forward positions and hopefully R.Davis/Kaman/Skinner come to play. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to let EJ steal some of CAT's minutes @ SG down the stretch especially if we're losing bad.

Go Clippers!

On the other hand, they may just be pissed about that stupid loss and vent all their frustrations on the Clippers.

I can't believe Mobley still resorts to taking those awful jumpers. Talk about horrible shot selection...

How about taking MOBLEY OUT OF THE GAME?

15-6 Rockets.

Dun is so bad. Seriously how can this team be this bad?

I see that we're missing a lot of shots early while Houston isn't really shooting well either.

Scola is making us pay early. Clippers are 3-13 from the field and trail by 9 with 5:24 left to play in the first.

Are the Clippers hiring for a new coach? This is the worst coaching job I've ever seen in my life.

I assume Michael Jordan (I mean Luis Scola) is being "checked" by Tim Thomas.
:D

Ownage so far, and Dun finally calls a timeout.

Something I've realized is that Dun has instilled absolutely no discipline when calling timeouts. You'll see great coaches in the NBA get on players who aren't performing to their expectations. Instead, Dumbleavy gets his little whiteboard out and just stays quiet.

Avery Johnson bandwagon sign-ups are here.
