A Sunday matinee. I'll probably miss most of the first quarter :(

Both teams are having early season troubles and are in desperate need to see some signs of life. We have some very winnable games coming up and it would be great to get that started today. I know that Baron is frustrated with all of the losing, so I'm expecting him to start taking things into his own hands when the rest of the team is struggling.

Dallas is playing terribly this year, we're going to win today.

At least Tim Thomas is out for awhile. Skinner played great D the other night.

Why don't we get to the free throw line anymore? And why can't we make em when we do? I miss Maggette. Who's up for bringing him back? Couldn't get much worse.
- Mobley + 2nd rounder?
- Tim Thomas, Ricky Davis?

I'd also like to see our first win. I heard that Josh Howard might not play so that only improves our chances. We're playing better every game, today can be the day that we get over the hump and win.

I'm tellin you guys this is the beginning of a good run. Yes Dallas is still a playoff team, but they are the 2nd easiest out of the first 7 games. With Tony Parker out for SAS, it can be a smooth ride for us soon. As long as we can play all 48 minutes we'll have a good chance to win these upcoming games.

The only guy we gotta worry about is my man James Singleton. >.>

I'm lovin all the optimism up in here...and I gotta say I agree with all of you, I think today could be the day :D It's our first Sunday matinee of the season too. I like these early games. Plus, I've had to miss the last two games (against the lakers and the Rockets), so I'm excited to just watch a game! And hear my boy Ralph call it all, of course. And I prayed last night for a Singleton sighting. We'll see how it goes.

The Clippers have a shot at a win today if they do 3 things -

1) hold Dirk Nowitski to less than 25 points
2) Win one of the matchups - Thornton/Howard or Davis/Kidd
3) hold Brandon Bass to 10 points or less

I can't drink the Kool-aid just yet. The way things have been going, Brandon Bass is probably going to have a 20/10 game.

The Mavericks are still a decent team. Kidd, now at the age of 60 still managed a 22/10/9 game last game. They are very beatable this year but still have a lot of weapons.

Maybe playing at noon will help us.

Josh Howard is questionable with a wrist injury.

I think the Clipps can win this game if they start out playing productive EARLY, something they really haven't done all season.

Mike Taylor should abuse J-Kidd when driving to the bucket, if that matchup ever occurs. Watch for that.

Bass, another undersized bulky PF, could kill us, and don't be surprised if he does.

Go Clipps!

Haha I hope he gets a free replacement. That was a lot of food.

Kind of a sloppy quarter, but we're ahead by 2.

Gordon for three! He's looking much better today than in previous games.
