5-35 - Truly Awe Inspiring

Post#1 » by NYCF » Wed Nov 19, 2008 11:15 pm

Someone posted on the Scout message board that the Clips finished last season at 4-26 and started this season 1-9 for a combined record of 5-35. That has got to be approaching some kind of all-time NBA record for futility. Pathetic. Wonder if the guys who played on the 9-73 72-73 Sixers are worried that these clowns might threaten their all-time record for futility. :(

Last season doesn't even count. Just scratch it off of the history books cause we were completely plagued with injuries. There are no excuses so far this season. We've just played like crap. Lack of "training camp" or not. We should not be blown out in most of these games. I wouldn't be as annoyed if we lost most of the games like in the SAS game. We were competitive throughout the entire thing, but to just lose by double digits with this amount of talent. It's just disgusting to even think about.

We just got our 2nd win, only 8 more to go so we don't have the all time worst record. Like Fishy said last season was plagued with injuries last season. Glad to get good our 2nd win
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

This team isn't close to being as bad as the strike season team that started the season 0-17. I was at the Sports Arena when they beat the Kings to end that streak.
