The Lowdown

Although there are numerous of connections between these two teams, only one particular connection sticks out like white on rice. Elton Brand and howw he left the Clippers after playing seven seasons ith the team before leaving the way he did. This will be the first match against Elton Brand since his departure. It's on the road and the Clips are in need of making an impact with their current struggles this season.

Clippers Manifesto

1. Hit the boards with force.

2. Force Philly to beat the Clips from the outside. Otherwise, they run loose on the inside, it will be a long night for the Clippers.

3.. Neturalize the X-Factor Willie Green from the perimeter.

Being in Pennsylvania I get the 6ers station. But I'm flying back to California tonight so I won't be able to watch the game :(

This would be the only time that I could watch them on TV over here. I'll just have to see the box score latter on. I hope we win and I know that the 6ers do struggle some times. If our game is on we have a chance to win. It also sounds like some of our players will be motivated to beat this 6ers team.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Needless to say, this has the potential to be a very interesting game. I really hope that the Clippers play hard and that they lay a number of (borderline dirty) hard fouls on you know who. Most intrigued to see how "Barren" plays tonight. He should have a serious chip on his shoulder, to say the least. My heart says the Clips play hard nosed and lay a physical beating on the Sixers in a blowout win, my head says EB goes off for 30, 12 and 5 blocks. If they can't get up for this game then it really is a total lost cause. Need to build off of the very solid 2nd half effort against the OKC Thunder (or whatever they're called these days). We'll see.

this is where camby needs to show his worth. not sure if kaman will be on brand and camby on dalembert, but if camby gets to defend elton he should be able to disrupt elton's jumper while not allowing elton's weak post game to be a factor. camby's not a good post defender but he has the height to make elton shot tough shots and hopefully elton can't expose camby's weak strength in the low block.

...Just a picture? Really? No picture of an ogre in the Sixers starting lineup, just a regular, standard, player picture? I guess "Brand" really is just a man after all.

I just wanna see a smashing. Better yet-- I wanna see the Sixers play a perfect game and lose in the last second by a 3-ball in Brandy's eyeball, or have 42 take the final shot and get it squashed back down his throat...I'm not bitter. I know I sound that way, but I'm not. I'm just a woman. Lord knows we don't hold grudges.

But if Brandy happens to have a freak accident and pulls a Livingston on any of his extremities, I won't be the one sending him flowers.

The guys have to continue with the defensive effort that they showed in the last game. It looks like Baron may be playing with a chip on his shoulder, while Thomas, Kaman & Mobley have no score to settle. Hopefully Baron will come out with a little more intensity than he has the past few games. We need this one.

We all know what happened the last time Brand went head-to-head with Kaman.

And I thought my wife was pretty tough.

P.S. Love the "Brandy" nickname, that's pretty clever.

Can we sign Danny Fortson for this game and then let him loose on Judas?

No Cat and no TT = Ricky Davis playing 40+mins = no chance for us to win.

I'm gonna miss Cat, he came to play every night. I was always a fan. Ugh, and now for tonight...no Cat, no TT, more Ricky....ugh.

I liked Cat as well and I'll miss him. I'm sure he and Timmy will play better in Dantoni's system. Timmy flourished when he was in Phoenix.

After a dramatic week from school I can just sit back and relax now... Please give me a win to make things better.

Go team!

With Cat and TT gone from the Clips, they get younger with Randolph at the PF spot. And since Cat is no longer a Clipper, Tricky Ricky probably will get the start.

Ricky did get the start. Hopefully EJ will see some decent minutes tonight.

How were the player interactions in the beginning? I missed the first 15 seconds or so lol.

Not looking good, BTW. There is only one OKC Thunder and we don't play them again until next month.
