C - Chris Kaman
F - Zach Randolph
F - Al Thornton
G - Ricky Davis
G - Baron Davis

6TH MAN - Marcus Camby

I see Kaman getting traded and Camby back starting at center soon.

I believe Camby will be traded not Kaman! Zach is a beast. He has offense that Camby doesn't. 20 and 10 every night! Or Dunleavy may keep Camby and Kaman and not go after a SG. ZACH IS GOOD!

Who are we going to trade Kaman for now?

We have one of the better PG's in the game, a prospect at the 2, a great 3, now ZBo at the 4, and 2 centers.

Who can we trade Kaman for that makes us into a championship contender?

Well Kaman is the name thats been brought up many times recently in trade speculation. All I know that either Kaman or Camby has to go cause neither player would want to come off the bench or lose minutes.

I would imagine that the starting line would be ....

Davis
Gordon
Thornton
Randolph
kaman

and then off bench Camby, Ricky davis, mike taylor

A starting shooting guard, such as Richard Hamilton, Mike Miller, Luol Deng, maybe even Jason Richardson would make the Clippers a contender!

Kaman could fit with the Pistons alongside Rasheed at the 4 and 5. Pistons would still have Iverson, Stuckey, and Prince in the starting lineup.

Chicago would finally get a skilled post player to start. Their roster is so complicated though, I don't know if you could get a Kaman for Deng deal, even if it's arguably fair value.

I don't know if either Mike Miller or Jason Richardson would be fair value to Chris Kaman, but both Miller and Richardson would balance out the starting lineup.

PG: Baron Davis
SG: Rip Hamilton or Luol Deng or Mike Miller or Jason Richardson
SF: Al Thornton
PF: Zach Randolph
C: Marcus Camby

My top 3 would be... Michael Redd, Rip Hamilton or Jason Richardson in that order. Anything else we get back, I want to see tons of 1st round picks coming back our way.

I could agree on Rip. He's a stud and still has a few good years left. But Kaman has more value than him because he's younger and a Center. Centers are just worth more. Ask Dampier, Kwame or Eddy Curry.

The Bucks have Bogut, they have no need for Kaman.

I really like this trade for the Clippers. Randolph with all the flaws he's got is much better than anyone you gave up. Hopefully he will buy into Dunleavy's system and things will get better for the Clips, one of my top 5 team in the NBA.

Honestly, unless the Clips can get a really good deal for someone like Kaman or Camby......a PF/C rotation of Randolph/Camby/Kaman is VERY solid.

This will allow Baron to feed Randolph and allow him to focus on offense while allowing Camby/Kaman to complement him on the defensive end.

I don't agree that we HAVE to trade Kaman or Camby. Either of them can benefit starting off the bench. Kaman has been a hit or miss when it comes to starting off hot or waaaaaaaaaaay cold. Camby, it takes awhile for him to find his groove. I have a better feeling Camby will be playing with the second unit, and that should be better than Kaman playing with the second unit.

Camby is the goner. Why trade Kaman who is by far the younger C with more potential?

Send Camby and some filler for VC and call it a day...

^ I wouldn't expect anymore high priced players like Vince. With Zach and Baron I think DTS is having a heart attack already.

Just thinking here but

How crazy would it be if Kobe opted out to sign with the "the team down the hall"! Haha

I really like the Rip idea, and he would get more shots up with BD compared to AI at the helm.

With the amount of quality bigs in the West (Phoenix, LAL, Utah, Portland, just to name a few), it behooves the Clips to have a strong front-line rotation. The big question going forward for the Clips is: What the heck are they going to do at SG? Gordon is the long-term answer, but the short-term guy is Ricky Davis? If Ricky can play like the Ricky Davis of 2006, then I see the Clips making a strong run the rest of the year and with (arguably) the best big man rotation in the league, I see them limiting teams to 1 possession and getting inside shots whenever they feel like it.

There's a bit of an oil and vinegar mix going on her though. Davis' game isn't suited for the half-court offense and with Mobley gone I fail to see where the Clips have the shooters to keep pressure off of the bigs.

The J-Rich trade would make Eric Gordon a 6th man for a while. J-Rich isn't old, he's only 27 years old. Him and Baron have played and looked well together, so it is definately a trade that I would welcome.
