i think the clippers need to win this one. if they had won last night, then this one would be much easier to win because of the momentum and a 2 game winning streak, but i bet you thornton will have another amazing game and baron will step it up.

^ He still needs to have his physical and all that. Yeah, the trek from NY to NJ ain't far, but when they heard about the trade, the Knicks were in Milwaukee. I heard the Clippers commentators say yesterday that having Randolph be ready to suit up against New Orleans on Monday was pushin' it.

Well that sucks about Z-Bo not playing. It's okay though. Since JJ made the thread we'll be fine. :D

Go team!

I think the Clips can win this game, but who knows which Clipper team is going to play tonight. They have to get Kaman involved and get him high percentage shots, and most importantly, they need to contain Devin Harris. I think Al and Gordon have to play well too.

Hopefully this will be a letdown game for NJ after their exciting OT win.

Al should have a great game. He did great last season against Vince.

So are you saying it'll take more than three games for Zach and Collins to suit up? :o

Baron needs the be the player we all thought we was gonna be when he signed here.
he needs to give 100% when hes out there
it looks like hes just BS'ing out there half the time

We really need Z-BO and Collins, why make this trade right now when they're not even going to play until next week. I think we can have success against the Nets, our other players will just have to step up.

Having lived in that New York/New Jersey area it isn't far at all but it sucks that they were in Milwaukee. Maybe the Clippers thinking was that the Knicks weren't on the road when they made the trade.

I thought yesterday was the first game he was serious. Things just didn't turn our way in the end.

The Nets will be exhausted after their hard-fought overtime win last night.
Between that, and the fact that Ms JJ did her thing with the game thread, I think the Clippers are in good shape to go for the win.
I will say, though, that the toughest opponent on that team is Lawrence Frank. It's amazing what he can do with that somewhat raw roster of guys.

We've had games when we've caught other teams coming off a back-to-back and they've still beat us. I hope today is different.

It's not what I'm saying, I'm just repeating what I heard Ralph Lawler say during the last broadcast. And well, if Ralph said it...it's the gospel as far as I'm concerned! I personally thought that they'd both be ready to suit up today, but apparently not. I guess we'll find out around 4:30 for sure!

It's funny to me how Dunleavy opted to start Pretty Ricky yesterday, but gave Gordon all the significant minutes. I listed Ricky as a starter in today's game, but I'd like to see EJ get the nod.

I used to wonder about that, too, but someone recently said that he has the same name as his father, and Eric Junior is shortened to EJ.

^ Haha, I literally JUST figured out the reason...and decided to use it in my last post....lol. He's also referred to as "EJ" on certain places on clippers.com, so I researched a lil bit and found that he is Eric Gordon, Jr., and was called "EJ" in his childhood.
