Good luck Clip fans. Just a heads up, the starting lineup changed for the Suns game (due to their size) and I think it might as well for this game if you have Kaman and Camby starting. Our starting lineup might end up being Chalmers, Wade, Marion, Haslem, Anthony. Beasley, Cook, Quinn, Diawara and Magloire will get some time off the bench.

... on a side note, you guys willing to trade Ricky Davis for a couple used towels yet?

Should be an interesting game to watch. Not a big fan of D-Wade though.. I hope Livingston is enjoying that new contract of his while getting no playing time. It would have been nice to have him back, but I'm kinda glad he left since Taylor has been playing so well.

Livingston's knee still isn't ready and they are rehabbing him, he played in garbage time a few nights ago, but they signed him really to be 100% for next year (he got a 2 year deal).

Oh I see. I remember seeing him play minutes at the beginning of the season. I suspected he was still having some issues. Hopefully things work out for him.

I hope Livy is active for tonight's game. I can't help it, I keep track of the Heat box scores to see whether or not he played. I wanna see him come all the way back after that injury-- it's kinda personal for me, since I was sitting in section 219 when it happened. I just wanna see him come full circle. Like Lane said, Shaun played about 7 minutes in the Heat's blowout loss to Portland and was inactive last night in Phoenix. I hope Shaun is at least activated for tonight, but unless this game is open by 25 points in either direction by late in the fourth, I don't think LA will see much of Shauny Livingston.

Anyway, about the game....I sort of see Miami as the East's version of the Clippers, except they're not as big, and obviously, their record is much better. But what I mean is, they're a team looking for balance and consistency. Take for example their last two games: in one, they got blown out the building in Portland 68-106; and last night, they rolled over Phoenix IN Phoenix 107-92. Although that win came against the Suns without Steve Nash, it doesn't really matter when D-Wade drops 43. Dude has been on a scoring rampage lately, and the last thing we need is for him to go for 30+ with our team in the state that it's in. But from what I gather from box scores (any Heat fans checking this out can correct me if I'm wrong) is that, like the Clippers, you never know which Heat team is gonna show up. Sometimes their chemistry is flowing and everything is on point, other times they look like the JV squad. They'll definitely be looking to build momentum against the Clippers tonight after winning on the road last night, but I hope we can shut 'em down and make them go looking for a winning streak somewhere else.

consistancy is the big issue, not so much in chemistry but more so getting all facets on the same page - with a team with no post game like the Heat and no one else who really can create his own shot other than Wade, there is no margin for error in say, shooting, or defensive intensity. The Heat blew out the Spurs, the Kings, the Suns for instance when their D was swarming, they were getting points off turnovers and getting easy scores and thus making it much more pressure free to shoot (when you're up).

We have been struggling to get an identity for Beasley, who shows a lot of offensive polish but never played man to man defense in his entire life. So he is struggling to stay on the floor in lieu of early foul trouble or bad defense. Last night he came off the bench for the first time, because they didn't want Haslem guarding Shaq and Beasley guarding Amare, so like HeatinOhio said, they may do that again with your big frontline, and have Joel Anthony, an athletic shot blocker with raw offensive game (think young poor man's Ben Wallace) start and center so Haslem can shift to the 4 and Marion to the 3.

Baron always plays well against us, and Camby & Kaman could cause the Heat problems -- this should be a close game I think. Wade is having an MVP season and last night he was incredible, and he now leads the league in scoring, let's see if he has juice to do it back to back nights. For the season he is shooting almost 50% from the field, 7.4 apg. Very efficient and playing the best defense in his career.

Oh-- by the way people, I missed the last game against Denver entirely, somebody update me on the injuries with Kaman and Ricky? Well, not so much Ricky, but what happened to Kaman and is he really gonna start tonight?

Kaman is listed as day-to-day with the foot injury in the NBA injury report. If at all possible, he would likely play tonight since the Heat don't have much at C. Even if he can play his minutes will likely be limited. Ricky Davis is listed as out until early December with a knee injury. Sportsbook.com has the Clippers as a one point favorite, so hopefully it will be a close game that the Clippers have a chance to win.

You guys think that knee tendinitis could be the cause of his crappy jump shot? I know the Clipper curse makes shooters suck a bit more when they come to our team, but this one is just brutal.

Uhh...fortunately, Ricky may be shutting it down for 2 weeks or so to recover from knee tendinitis. If that has been the primary reason for his shooting woes, then I guess I'd be willing to give him another chance.

Kaman has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in the last 5 games. He played about 12 minutes against Denver before calling it a night. He received a cortisone shot in his foot and hoped to be ready for tonight. According to Ramona, he's doubtful and Baron is a game-time decision after picking up the stomach virus that Hart and Skinner had.

Man, I'm really sorry to hear that it's plantar fasciitis that is troubling Kaman --- depending on the degree, that can plague a player for months and be extremely painful. I hope this is a very light case, quickly detected and soon healed.

Plantar fasciitis? Damn, I think Bosh had that injury last season and it affected his game for quite awhile. Things are just getting from bad to worse. Hopefully the 2nd unit can get some valuable experience while our guys are out. Who knows, maybe ZBo and Gordon will have a big game and keep it competitive? But the way Wade is playing, it will be hard to stop him from having one himself.

Kaman out (a few games), Baron in.

Randolph will likely start.
