Dallas Starting Lineup:

Jason Kidd-Jerry Stackhouse-Josh Howard-Dirk Nowitzki-Eric Dampier

Injuries:
-Josh Howard (ankle) is listed as day-to-day, but is expected to start against the Clippers.
-Antoine Wright (groin) is listed as day-to-day after straining his groin muscle in Saturday's win against Sacramento
-Jerry Stackhouse (heel) is day-to-day.

The Good:
-The Clippers got their first win of the season against Dallas on Nov. 9, 103-92.
-We have Z-Bo now!
-At 8-8, Dallas is off to it's worst record through 16 games since the 1998-99 season.

The Bad:
-The Mavericks have won six of their last seven, the only loss coming against the Lakers.
-Dallas will be looking to break above the .500 mark for the first time this season.
-Chris Kaman will not travel with the Clippers on this road trip.
-The Mavericks have beaten the Clippers four straight times in American Airlines arena by an average of 17 points.

The Ugly:

I say that lovingly, of course.
J-Sing has started 3 games for the Mavericks recently, each game resulting in a win. He's averaged 4 points in 19 minutes in those 3 starts.

It's nice to see James get some minutes with Dallas. I really didn't think he would play at all with the depth they have at the forward position. He didn't play so well the first time we met them, but let's hope he drops 30 on us tonight!

I'll just say if Baron doesn't start chucking it up. We can probably win this game.

I never thought that I would see us having Z-Bo as a good thing, but it does make Diddy happy and we're 1-1 with him in the mix. Josh Howard was playing very well before getting so, I wouldn't mind if he took another game off, or at least came back a bit rusty.

Here's a little Q&A with Z-Bo on Clippers.com

The key matchup will Zbo vs Dirk and AL vs J-High. We'll need maximum effort from our bench tonight if we expect to win this game on the road. So, "1-Man Press", Novak, P.Davis, Skinner, Hart and Collins all must help out on either end of the floor.

It sucks that we have some key players out. Hopefully we continue to play better and play well enough to beat the Mavericks. We're a much better team than 3-13 and let's go out and get win #4 tonight.

This phrase from mkw is exactly my thought going into this game: I don't think Dirk is going to have a very easy time of it.
I hope the injuries won't hold the Clippers back too much. The Mavs seem like a different team this year, as if they no longer quite believe in their future as champions. Some of us never did, of course, but when they don't, they play differently.
I could be wrong --- I often am --- but that's how it strikes me.

Correct! Dallas is clearly on the downward slide and in a totally different mindset. They know they aren't competing for championships right now and its every man for himself. Won't be long before JKidd and JoHo are whining and asking to be traded. I wish they would trade Dirk though.

Thank goodness, we're in the red unis tonight. Devean George and Gerald Green are starting in place of Stack and Howard.

I forgot to mention poor fast breaks ran by Camby, and stupid inbound passes as well.

Clips were off to a great 9-0 start before the Mavs scored. We lead 17-7 with just over 5 to go in the quarter.

Z-Bo for 2 +1 on the drive down the lane... reminiscent of Domonique! (Except not at all)

6-0 run (2 Terry threes) by the Mavs and our lead is down to 5.
