What's your take on Deandre Jordan?

I've been trying to follow him since he went to the pros, but I rarely get to see the Clips play and can't seem to get much info on him. How is he doing? How does he look? and why isn't he getting a smidge more PT? Does he look THAT raw?

DJ is THAT raw. I was hoping he'd contribute this year, but it just doesn't look like it will happen. Personally, I think he should go to the D-League to gain some experience. But from what I saw of him in the preseason, he can play. He's really athletic, runs the floor well, and can block shots. But for those who compared him to Dwight Howard, that's unfair to DJ. He's definitely a project, but I believe he will get better each season.

DJ really needs some experience to play up to his potential. He's only been playing during garbage time really, and he's been coming in to the game trying to do too much. I forgot what game it was, maybe the one against Orlando, but he came into the game late in the 4th, picked up a couple of dumb fouls and turned the ball over a couple times trying to make fancy passes without thinking first. He definitely looks good at some points though. If you haven't had the chance, check out his blog on the Clippers website. It's actually really entertaining.
