Baron Davis effort is appalling!

Post#1 » by DerickG » Wed Dec 31, 2008 5:59 am

I am sick and tired of the way the Los Angeles Clippers are playing. Complain all you want fans that it’s all Mike Dunleavy & Donald T. Sterling’s fault. YOUR WRONG. They don’t take the floor each night and stink the arena up. The players do, these multi-million dollar athletes that show no heart each and every night. A few players on this team actually go all out all the time. Marcus Camby, Mike Taylor, Paul Davis, Zach Randolph, the rest of the players are lazy and don’t come to arena with a sense of urgency and will to win. Kaman is hurt; people say he is a sissy for not being out there; really we can’t comprehend what he goes through every night when he can’t play.

BARON DAVIS YOU ARE HORRIBLE
DO YOU CARE?
DO YOU WANT OUT?

Yeah could he really play right now we won’t ever know, so get off the subject. I want the Clippers to win more than anything in the world but with the way these guys play and act is irresponsible. I pay lots of money to watch them play. I blame Jasen Powell, Johan Wang the trainers. Why are our players always hurt????????? Every dam year it’s the same story. Ricky Davis can’t play so he’s doing drugs.

PLEASE TAKE DOWN THE AD’S with Baron saying PLAY LOUD. We don’t play loud, we play silent. Our fans are silent as well. Wake up or don’t come to the games.

BARON DAVIS is a joke, I can’t wait to blast him tomorrow night! Happy New Year. Baron you suck.

I am done! I am so sick to my stomach. On how Baron plays.

All that said! I am not giving up. With the talent we have we can do lots of good things just if the players pulled there head out of there a** and played like they want to win we might have something. Until then it is sad. Maybe the Clippers need a motivational speaker to come and talk to them. They have no fight.

Go Clippers!

I'd take a 39 year old Sam Cassell over Baron Davis.

I was ecstatic when news first broke we acquired Baron via free agency, thought he would be able to lead this franchise, both pre and post Judas, but this guy is garbage. No heart, very little leadership. Hell, I do have to say, I've seen more leadership from him on the court, telling the guys where to go, then I ever saw from Judas and Maggs. Jason Hart showed more heart and leadership when he nearly got us into the playoffs, Fred Jones has shown more heart in two games then Baron has all year.

No.. I'd actually we're right cause we've been stinking it up even before Baron came along. I'll agree Baron sucks big donkey nuts, but we've only had 1 successful season under Dunleavy, and that was with a healthy Sam Cassell. We lose Sam to injury and what happens? We suck ass again. I'm pretty sure Sam motivated the players that season more than Dunleavy ever has during his time here. That's why we played so well during our playoff run, but when he's out or leaves us we're back to the same ol Clippers.

One good thing out of this has been Sterling opening up his wallet. We've signed some quality free agents this year, and for once have not been a bajillion dollars under the salary cap. I think he does see the light in spending money to make this team better. I just don't think he has a vast amount of knowledge on the game.. So perhaps that's why people like Elgin stuck around for so long even though he did squat for the team. And perhaps why Dunleavy practically has total control over the team.

That's pretty funny. I even yelled "LIAR!" at my TV when they showed it during tonight's game.

Its tough to argue for Baron in light of what he's been doing so far this season. Like ejftw said, I too was ecstatic when we signed him, but damn...! Damn. That's all I can say to you Baron, damn.

Quality backups still = quality players. :P

Getting Skinner, re-signing Paul Davis, and even getting Fred Jones were some good acquisitions for our bench. I'm sure Jason Williams would have helped us a bit if he stayed with the team. I will still hold my opinion on Ricky because our team was stupid enough to play him while he was injured. I should have reworded that to over the years rather than just this one. So you got me there. :P

Point is Sterling has spent money on the team this decade. He does take some blame for our **** front office though. But for me it goes Dunleavy > Sterling > Baron.

Suns fan here, some of the Suns fans are also getting tired of Steve Nash continuoues complanining about his friend being traded. Having said that, wha do you think about this trade:

Suns trade:
Steve Nash

Clippers trade:
Baron Davis
DeAndre Jordan

Yeah I agree. Nash may thrive in a fast paced offense as well, but he's at least more disciplined and isn't known to be a chucker.

Uh yeah, that trade is done in a heartbeat if it's up to the Clippers.

Right now with injuries, no I don't believe we have the talent to make good things happen, even with better effort by the players.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
