Barren Watch

Post#1 » by NYCF » Wed Dec 31, 2008 9:00 pm

Thought it might be interesting (and depressingly illuminating) to track this POS's FG shooting game-to-game. B Shi**y's FG shooting has been so bad this season that it is almost hard to believe. For the record here's what he has done since December 1:

Mavs 10-23, Rockets 5-15, Grizz 7-16, Wolves 7-15, Magic 11-29, Blazers 11-29, Rockets 5-12, Thunder 7-21, Bulls 6-23, Pacers 5-18, Bucks 2-9, Raptors 4-15, Mavs 4-13 and Kings 3-17.

The really scary thing is that he appears to be on a downward trend. Could this POS actually shoot below 33% for the season. Stay tuned, I plan to track him game-by-game so only time will tell.

12-31-08 vs. Sixers:

5-16.

Yet another stellar shooting performance from B Shi**y. Rapidly on his way to a .333 FG percentage (and perhaps even lower). Have to do some research to determine what is the lowest season FG percentage ever recorded (with a required minimum of FG attempts). This 16 M man is laughably bad. Donelavy should display some stones for once in his coaching career and sit this bum. He is an abomination.

Uhh... Dude can you just shut up with your whinny posts? Honestly we already know how much our team sucks this year, and how horrible Baron is playing. We stay up to date with our team and know how our players are doing this year. This isn't necessary. Go rant in the game threads.

Dude, I have no desire to enter into a pissing contest with you or to rub salt in the wounds of fellow long-suffering Clipper fans. Having said that, I wont apologize for half a second for ripping this obscenely overcompensated "superstar" whose reprehensible attitude is outdone only by his pathetic performance. Just trying to keep the more casual fan up to date on how bad this joker's performance has been this season. If you don't like the threads or posts, don't read them, I could care less.

P.S. For the record, the fact that you lay the blame for Barren's grisly performance primarily at the feet of "Coach" Doneleavy is ridiculous.

I was also gonna chime in and say that this seems like you're putting forth a lot of effort just to hate on someone. Kinda seems a little unnecessary. If my opinion means anything, which it very well may not, there is no legitimate reason to have a thread like this. If you wanna update folks on Baron's shooting nights, I think it might be best to do it in the game thread.

And we get it already, you don't like Baron. Point proven.

Sad to say but personally the thread is a little useful I can't really go to boxscores every game and bD fG% is the hot topic of the team. How did Baron go 7-21 against OKC who was a threat guarding him?

The B-Sh*tty stuff is a little far but I don't mind someone stat tracking Baron's stats it gives a little more insight to what is wrong with the team.

I am going to have to agree with the majority. All the Baron threads are really kind of overkill. There are other "Barren sucks" threads open and of course the game threads are an option as well to comment on his performance or lack thereof.
