This is a game where we need to keep in mind that crazy way in which anything can happen on any given night in this league.
If the league champions can decisively beat everyone in sight for months and then suddenly collapse for four games for no perceptible reason, then who knows what might not happen in Dallas when the Clippers take the floor with half the team nursing ambiguously lengthy injuries, a couple suddenly and strangely waived, and the few remaining guys sulky and angry because they have been asked to do too much on their own. Which --- yes --- they have.
It looks pretty unlikely that the Clippers will prevail here.
But stranger things have happened.
Anyway --- Go Clippers.

To spare us from the embarrassment? It'll be covered by the Mavs though so there should be some online streams.

I really hope we wind up signing someone today. Since we waved Jones we really don't have any guards
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

^ I guess it'll be Mardy and EJ sharing PG minutes all night if we don't add anybody. Man...this season is unbelievable :noway:

How long before we see Derick Martin suit up again? :rofl2:

Do you think we have the talent to beat UCLA right now?

:pityfool: (I pity the Clippers, or maybe its just us shmucks who love them.)

When in its long history (excluding the Braves days) has this team ever had so much as a halfway decent bench.

Hopefully not for a long time, team is better without him. At least they have shown some heart when he is out of the lineup.

Guyv, where have you been?

I assume you are so disgusted with what's gone on this season that you have just been too dispirited to post.

WOW!!!! After we saw the pre season, some of us thought playoff time right?
We have Baron Davis, Al Thornton,Marcus Camby,Kaman and Mobley. Steve Novak, Eric Gordon and Ricky davis were hitting three's and we thought that our bench would be great.

Two months later the team is 8-24 , Mobley retired, Zach was a BEAST and is now injured. Kaman,R Davis , Baron davis are not producing anything. What a turn out of a season. Well , like I have been telling my self since 05-06 , next season will be better.

Kaman did okay. He started off pretty slow, but gradually got better until he got injured.

I hope James gets some minutes in this game. His playing time is so inconsistent even though he's been producing quite well for the Mavs.

Weirdly, while you people in LA don't seem to be able to watch this game on TV, I think I am going to be able to see it on my TV instead of my usual following the running text on yahoo sports. My cable company has a promotional rate on NBA leaguepass so I've just taken it temporarily and if I'm reading the schedule right, I can watch the Clippers game at 8:30 ET. I hope so, anyway. My son says he'll watch it with me, even though I have explained our injury/waived-guys/bench problems. Now, that's family loyalty.
I hope there will be other Clipper games I can watch in the coming months, too. I can see the things you are describing on the game threads.
