Probably the same deal as Samb's. He's a guard and he's athletic, that's all I can say. I hope we waive Samb and get Fred Jones back. Or just someone who can score. D-Miles perhaps?

I'm gonna be honest with you guys about Hassan. He's the best cheerleader the Raps had, a great team player but hard to find much else. I think one game against Miami he got crossed at least twice and fell both times. Who knows though, it might just be from lack of minutes, I hope he does well with you guys because everyone knows the Clippers have had too much bad luck already.

You really think that they'll give up on Samb this early?

Also, WHAT THE HELL ARE THE CLIPPERS DOING? I realize neither of these moves really cost them all that much. But what kind of help does Hassan Adams bring that someone on a ten-day contract couldn't?

Samb, I get, hes a project plain and simple. But a 6'4" wing doesn't generally work out well.

At this point I'm almost expecting the Clippers to trade for either the Bobcats' Juwan Howard, the Hawks' Randolph Morris, or the Timberwolves' Rodney Carney.

Saving some money. They will probably cut the guy asap, but he's a nice plug for as long as the Clippers are depleted with injuries. The cash consideration will probably be more than they'll have to pay Hassan Adams, and the Raps will get some cap relief this way (I'm not sure about their situation).

Both Sheik and Hassan won't be around next year. I'm afraid the Clippers ARE actually preparing more moves.

The cap is exactly why Toronto made this deal. When they signed Jake Voskul mid-season, it put them over the cap. This moves puts them back under.

As for Adams, he seemed a little out of shape this season and got zero playing time. Even when the Raptors switched coaches, he still never touched the court.
