I was just wondering why people choose Clippers over Lakers? Not to be rude but in all honesty.

There are at least 65 threads in the depths of this forum that ask this exact question. To sum it up: because we can!

I have been a fan since the early 90's . Dont know exactly why I chose the Clippers but I did. Used to watch them on channel 13. Doc Rivers, Marc Jackson, Danny Manning, Ken Norman,Loy vaught.

I'm a fan of both the Lakers and Clippers, but when they play against each other I root for the Clippers. In general, I'm just a basketball fan and follow the entire league. I really grew up watching the Lakers before all the bandwagoners jumped back on, when the core of players were Nick Van Exel, Anthony Peeler, Cedric Ceballos, Eddie Jones, Sedale Threatt. Both the Clippers and Lakers were equally crappy but entertaining back then.

But the Clippers are my team, and the reason is because true Clippers fans are there through it all, and I think that makes the team and the game more meaningful. Think about the Red Sox and how they were "cursed". They had some of the most dedicated fans, and when they won that Championship in '07 there was so much history and meaning behind that win for all the fans that bandwagoners just wouldn't get the same experience from.

I'm not saying that other teams' fans are bandwagoners, but most Clippers fans are those who stick through all the ups and downs of the team.

No Sonics anymore and i just like rooting for the Underdog.
And there isn't a bigger underdog in this league, then the Clippers.
