http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... to_return/Clippers center Chris Kaman is getting closer to his return from plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and believes that he might return in two weeks.
Kaman has missed the season's last 42 games with the injury.
"At the beginning, it was really frustrating for me," said Kaman. "Because I was uncertain when I was going to play. Knowing now what I know, I wish I could have known back then how long it was going to be.
"I have to be patient. I can't really complain or do anything about it. Just wait and let it heal and take my time, not overdo it.
"Obviously it [stinks] but there's nothing I can do about it, got to try to get back into shape now and get ready to play. I'm looking down the road and not looking behind me."

It's sad that Chris has missed half the season. He's been out since the first game that we acquired Randolph.

Oh, Kaman...
As far as his return goes, I won't believe he's close to coming back till I see him doing layup lines before the game-- where he'll probably pull a Lamar Odom and twist his ankle or something.

I've always been a Kaman fan, but this season has made it tough to defend my Vanilla Gorilla.

But on the positive side, he's probably a lot better at Rubiks Cube now...

Only benefit I see of Kaman coming back is if he learned to pass the ball out of the post, then EJ can get some good 3 point opportunities. Otherwise, he's going to slow down the game for our athletic players, clog up the paint, and produce a good number of turnovers like usual.

We all should.

Whether you want him on the team or traded. Having him play and produce increases his trade value. Who would want a C who has yet to prove he can stay healthy after this and last year? Some may, but we'll get squat in return.

Was Kaman's only healthy season that time we went to the playoffs?

If I am moving Kaman I would like to move Thornton as well. We have plenty of intriguing pieces this year. With our draft pick, Kaman, Camby, Thornton, and maybe Baron Davis to the right team. Hopefully we can find a good deal.

The sixers are trying everything they can, just to move Dalembert.
So i doubt they'll trade for Kaman.

I'd trade Kaman, Camby, Baron or even Thornton, if the right deal is offered, but i'd keep our own pick.
