Some fan writing about his dislike for Davis?

I wouldn't mind trading Davis and giving Eric Gordon + some rookie the keys to our backcourt, but i doubt that this article means anything at all.

just a little editorial. i agree with him saying this is not baron davis' place. he qould fit in better with other team.

I would rather get rid of Dunleavy(as a coach) first to see how things go next year, then trade Baron if he continues to stink it up. I don't think Dunleavy would have as much of a problem if Sammy took over his spot on the bench while he took on front office duties. Don't they get along quite well?

I still believe he did a good job in the off-season with all the acquisitions, his system just sucks for the people he brought in.

I would just look to dump his contract at this point.

Well, when you are the bottom there's only 1 way to go...

Realistically speaking, it probably doesn't make sense to trade him in a pure salary dump unless we end up getting a prime PG in the next draft. Otherwise we're better of keeping him as a starting PG because who else will do better for us? The salary savings in a salary dump are relatively meaningless to us, because none of us has any delusions of grandeur about the 2010 FA class.

If the best player available at our draft spot ends up being a PG, then take the PG and trade Baron for whatever you can get (even if it's a pure salary dump.) But otherwise, take the best big man available and we'll stick with Baron. (but bonus points then if we get rid of Dunleavy.)

okay. i'm a huge clipper fan,
but tell me why i loved baron as a hornet, i loved baron as a warrior,
but now that he's on my team i realize ehhh, i don't really like him as much as i thought i did.
he takes too many bad shots, and idk if you've noticed or not,
but this guy does NOT like to pass eric gordon the ball.
we need to get rid of baron, trade him and zach randolph(i do like HIM, however) for amar'e stoudemire
draft a good point guard like brandon jennings and BATTLE with that team, things start to look a little scary after that for the entire western conference.

baron's great, you can't take that away from him.
but with him in the lineup we just have a clog in the backcourt.
not to mention, er gordon has proven he can come out and score 20+ points a night on a consistent basis, and it's only going to get better as he ages, with baron carrying the ball that's less touches for gordon, and the other 3 guys on our starting lineup who can score the ball consistently aswell when healthy: z-bo, al, and ck.
honestly, i think eric is going to be an even better player then baron in his prime.
it sucks to have to or think about trading away such a big name,
but we have a really good young core even without b.
and sometimes, you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Yeah right, the Suns are just dying to trade Amare for those two guys, especially with an owner trying to shed as much salary as possible.

It would be great just to net an expiring for Davis or Randolph(he's got negative value arond the league for quite some time) alone and we surely won't be able to dump both of those contracts for an expiring, especially not if that expiring should be Stoudemire.

So let's hope that there's at least a market for Davis this summer, if he keeps on playing as bad, as he's been playing this year.
