The people have spoken and they want Dun to leave
For Dunleavy to have continued employment with the Clippers, however, it is essential that he immediately turn around the team’s fortunes at the start of next season.
Sources close to the team revealed that team president Andy Roeser met recently with 100 or so season-ticket holders who implored Roeser to fire Dunleavy, who still has another two years remaining on the four-year, $22 million contract extension he signed during the 2007-08 season. In the aftermath of the meeting, the Clippers won their most significant game of the season when they defeated the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics.

That Memphis Jizz bench is 80% Ex-Clips
Also, NO EJ/NO ZBO again?

I'll excuse Zach for this one...there's no reason to leave your family to play for a 15-win team while your family's hurting. But no EJ again?! C'mon cupcake, you got a ROY award to fight for!
This is a game I'd love to watch...because of DMiles. I haven't seen him play since he made his comeback (I missed the last Grizz game too), but I gotta save this game for the DVR again.
Go Clips!

This game doesn't exactly sound like it's going to be a barnburner for the Clippers. I'll do the PVR thing again --- can't see staying up to 1:30 a.m. in the hopes that the Clippers are going to put on the performance of the year tonight with all those guys out. If it is, I'll cheer them on throughout the tape first thing in the morning.
But I am heartened by the season's ticket holders speaking in accord and en masse to the brass. If anyone's voice should carry weight, it is theirs. Wouldn't have seen this otherwise --- thanks for the info, mkw.

I'll be missing it due to class. That is a bit funny that 3-5 Grizzles are ex-clippers.

We need B-Diddy to inflate his stats so his trade value increases this offseason.

Ouch. Conley felt the boom of Baron's elbow to his chin. He will head to the locker room. Hopefully he didn't lose a tooth.
Nice block by DJ.

Jones to DJ for the alley oop over Arthur and 1. He actually makes the free-throw to top it off.

Al got up on that one, but he ended up grimacing after coming down.

AL needs to do that more often.

Before the game they had an interview and he was saying that he plays so much better when he's being aggressive at getting to the basket. I'm glad that he recognizes that, but it's kind of like Dunleavy. He knows what needs to be done to be successful, but it is the implementation that is the problem.

Mardy Collins with a running bankshot bingo from about 33 feet to end the quarter.
Clips trail the Grizzlies 26-30 after 1.
We're playing pretty good for the most part. I was surprised that Camby had a few bad plays that resulted in turnovers. He's hitting the boards as usual, he's just gotta hold onto the ball.

"1-Man Press" just posterized the entire Memphis frontline with that one-handed baby windmill power dunk.

Hey MJ,
What's up with Camby? I've been in and out but haven't seen him out there in awhile. Is he hurt or is DJ just being rewarded for his play?

DJ given a chance probably because of all the youth on the floor right now. Also, AL has officially responded to all his doubters.

Clippers with a very active finish to end the quarter. Al knocked down the 17 footer to put the Clips up 53-52 with just over a second left.
Baron and Thornton are both playing how they should when other scorers are out. They have 14 a piece, both shooting over 50% from the field. DJ got the start and is playing a great game. He has 7 points, 5 rebounds & 3 blocks. He's even shooting 3-5 from the line. Taylor has come in off the bench and has had some highlight plays. He keeps the defense on their toes with his quickness and he's helping force turnovers on defense.
You guys who aren't able to watch tonight's game are going to freak when you see his dunk from earlier in the game.
