DeAndre Jordan Question
SOOOOOOOO I am a Texas AtM fan, so I always check the clippers boxscore or watch the games when I can to see how Deandre is doing. Now, It looks to me whenever he gets to start or just get playing time he gets like 8-10 rebounds and 7-10 points on a really high fg%. How come your coach doesnt play him more often? and what do ya think his potential is?

Re: DeAndre Jordan Question
I think having Kaman back has been a major reason for DJ's declined minutes. Now with Kaman, Randolph, and Camby in the lineup, there is simply less room for DeAndre. I personally love the guy, I want him to be a Clipper for a long time. I can see him being an amazing spark off the bench or a solid starter at C for us in the future, depending on what the management does with our abundance of post players.

Re: DeAndre Jordan Question
I love his potential. How it out plays out in the long run will be up to him. The guy is a character and his personality has been a huge plus in regards to him being a fan favorite. His friendship with Taylor is reminiscent of a certain dynamic duo of Clippers past.
As JJ already mentioned, with a healthy front court it is hard for him to find minutes. He's been able to benefit from the playing time that he has received, since he wasn't supposed to really get much of any when he was drafted. I'd love to see him become a Camby-like player and the fact that we have Camby here to tutor him will go a long way in DJ's development. He can be a great finisher, which is something that this team has desperately needed. There are times that he gets too excited and tries to do too much, like dunking from too far out.
I hope that he puts in a lot of work over the summer and is able to earn playing time next season regardless of who we have in the front court.

Re: DeAndre Jordan Question
I think improving his defense is going to play the biggest role in his PT going forward.
He is pretty raw offensively, but that doesn't matter quite as much right now. He is very quick for a C and will get opportunistic points no matter what. If he can just couple that with solid defense and good paint presence, you can't not play him.
