Hey clipper nation, this was recently posted on the raptors board and I wanted to know what you guys thought about it.

A raptors fan I say Chris bosh is a lot better than Zach Randolph….statistically they may seem similar but bosh is a potential superstar in the league and is a hardworking type of player one would feel safe building a franchise around.

Randolph is nowhere near CB4’s level

Randolph is nowhere near CB4’s level

Randolph can score with the best of them, so offensively, they are pretty close. Neither of them are "great" defenders. Randolph, when with the Knicks, was pulling down double doubles almost every other night. CB4 contest shots better than Zach. ZBO is tougher than CB4. I would go with Zach, yet his only problem is, at times, he is too much of a black hole. I'll give the edge to Bosh, but I am not really that impressed with his game.

Yeah offensively he's on par with most high tier players, but overall.. Not a chance. He needs to learn to play some defense and work on passing.

As much as I like Zbo, he's no Chris Bosh.

I think Chris Bosh has a better work ethic and physical fitness compared to Z-Bo... Z-Bo is too unstable and gives up on D a lot when he gets tired after playing for 5 minutes straight.

This isn't the first time that Zach had said he's better than another player. We all know that he's gifted offensively but that's about where it ends. If Zach truly wants to be one of the best he needs to get into better shape, lose weight, and concentrate on the defensive end. He doesn't need to be all defensive team but just a solid defender.

^But was he right about being better than Brand? It's not clear cut, but not as "far out" a statement as you first thought, right?

Bosh does have him on athleticism and the marketing (good boy) image, but besides that they're pretty much equal -- with Zach having way more toughness. If Bosh had to deal with the outside negativity that Zach has heard these past few years, he would crumble. Picture Zach asking fans not to boo? LOL

Lol, okay Zach. At least you have confidence.
