No Dunny! Geez!

Post#1 » by DubaLakers » Wed May 20, 2009 6:30 pm

Dunny would be a horrible Chess player. We're taking him, done deal. What's the need to stake your claim at this point?

Dunny buying a car... "Damn I love this car, best car ever, can't live without it, I want this one, now let's haggle."

I don't know Rubio's game enough to know if he is a good defensive player, but if he is I love his game enough to take him over Griffin and get something for moving down a slot, like Rudy Gay baby!

Griffin doesn't have much of a face for marketing, yikes!, and had a bad knee injury. He's a fantastic player as well, pro ready. I do like him better than I did Beasley, cuz he's a traditional 4.

You guys have seen Rubio play right, he's a really smart PG, excellent size, played against Team USA and did very well. I do have to admit I'm a huge PG guy.

This isn't like '05 or '06, when Bogut and Bargnani went #1, respectively. There is no debate, Griffin is THE guy. Why beat around the bush when there's no mystery?

At this point plenty of NBA scouts have taken a look at Griffin and since there isn't much of a debate of who is number 1 why really look at anyone else. I do think we should take a look a Rubio and maybe a few others just because we have time to do so.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The Clippers have been in the lottery and scouting players since Nov/Dec.

What can the Clippers learn in the next month that they haven't already seen over the last 6 months?

They can learn that someone will give them a lot for a small move up like I said MEM could give up Gay to get Griffin and then the LAC use the #2 and take Rubio.
