Al Thornton...

Hello. I am just wondering if Cleveland has anything you would want for Al Thornton. It is clear that Cleveland needs an athletic SF to back LeBron up and play key minutes at the 3 so we could move Bron to the 4 against smaller PF's that have hurt us in the past like Odom and now Lewis. Thornton is a pretty good one but I have no idea how his standing is with the Clippers. Cleveland could offer picks, future picks, or someone else from our roster.

What about Kaman or Davis? I just don't think Cleveland would take Randolph.

Nothing.
I don't want to trade Thornton at all, but if we do it has to be in a package to get a star. Kaman + Thornton + future pick for ???
I don't think Cleveland has anything we'd want.

What about the Bulls, We are in need of a scoring PF and could really use his scoring. Hinrich and maybe 16 for him.

Hinrich and 16 for Al Thornton alone? Or are you asking for Kaman AND Thornton? The first option is too good for us and the second is a bad deal for us.
At Thornton's salary I don't see him leaving unless its a major deal for multiple players.

http://www.82games.com/0809/0809LAC.HTMI don't understand why some Clippers fans think Thornton is good.
production net -2.9
on court/off court net -4.5
He is a horrible shooter yet he takes almost 15 fg attempts per game.
.253 3-pt%
.462 2-pt%
.456 eFG%
What does he do well?

Someone else already had a thread on how bad a shooter Thornton is.
