Guys, there's a discussion in the General board about this ridiculous suggestion. Come on Clip fans, go in there and educate these clueless "NBA fans":

Well.. Apparently the guy doesn't even know **** about us since he apparently thought Danny Manning didn't play for us to begin with(Judging from the first couple responses). How the hell do you get Danny Manning and Danny Ferry mixed up?

It is far too late for any of that nonsense discussed in this link to happen, Griffin has worked out for the team, gone through interviews and is ready to take on the challenge of being the #1 pick. He will be introduced to the media on Tuesday. Ferry didn't work out for the Clippers and let it be known he didn't want to be drafted by the Clippers prior to the draft.

Griffin will be there and give his best. Now, he's likely to leave at the first opportunity, but that won't be for at least five years. And who knows, maybe the Clips get their stuff together and he wants to stay. In any event, he should be fun to watch for your team.

Blake Griffin should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Danny Ferry :wavefinger:

Griffin is a nice guy. Hes not going to pull Marbury and refuse to play. He was the #1 pick, in one of the biggest marketing cities in the world. Why wouldn't he want to be here?

The Clips have also done a decent job in atttracting free agents/players for a couple years now. The record doesnt show it but management has stepped up and is opening the bank to try and make this a winning franchise.
