:o Q!!! Sad to see Z-Bo go. I really wanted him to stay, but his contract is pretty big, and with Blake coming in I'm not sure if he would really like the backup role. :( Best of luck to him in Memphis if this is true.

Can we bring D-Miles back now? :D

I'm not mad at this move. I think Q might be able to produce with us, even though the past few years his stats have been declining. With our logjam of big men, this move had to be made. But how does affect the situation with Camby and Kaman? Are we still looking to move one of them?

Good luck to Z-Bo. I liked him for the short time he was here.

We can now become major players in 2010. I was all for spending our MLE, but now I'd rather save it for 2010.

Clips are 2010 players again!

Nice manueving by the Clippers, holding out for a better player and take back less money.

Odds are we'll probably keep Kaman now. I really don't think Camby would resign with us. He was one of the most frustrated looking Clipper players I have ever seen in quite some time. So perhaps we'll deal him at the trade deadline if we're in for another bad season.

I doubt Camby stays at all to be honest. He'll be dealt for maybe a future pick+the same expiring.

Do the Clippers dive into this free agent market with the 8m or so in space that they have right now perhaps? If they were to make a second trade it's possible that they could have more and be able to make yet another offer.

Now we'll have cap space for 2010, and Griffin gets all the PT he wants. YES!

Blake can get all the PT he needs to go for ROY. Plus, Return of the Headknock.

I'm stoked!!

Say the Clippers do get rid of Baron and Kaman, resulting in an estimated 42-44m in cap room, what's the plan? Joe Johnson at PG/SG to compliment Gordon?

^ Who knows at this moment. I doubt we get rid of Boom, but Kaman is a real possibility.

I think Johnson if available is the ultimate possibility since he's such a great overall player that can run a team at PG with SG size complimenting Gordon who is large, athletic and can guard PGs.

Food for thought:

PG- Johnson
SG- Gordon
SF- 24m to figure this part out
PF- Griffin
C- DeAndre Jordan

Why would we need Rip when he have Gordon and now Q? We'd sure love Prince, though.

A Prince move can be made through simply having the necessary cap room. Ditching say Thornton along with Ricky Davis to another club could help that move happen.

Perhaps considering their youth movement Detroit would go for Prince for Thornton+Davis (numbers don't have to match)+ a pick or something else of value. Detroit would gain cap room to allow it to sign yet another big free agent.

Detroit wants a center, and we can offer them Kaman. Kaman + Thornton for Prince + Maxiell seems to be the fairest trade that fans of both teams can agree upon.

A big no thank you to Maggs. :D
