Jared Jordan

Post#1 » by mattfish » Fri Jul 10, 2009 10:15 pm

I just noticed that Jared Jordan is playing for the Warriors for the summer league in Vegas. I was wondering what happened to the guy? I remember all the hype that he was the "Next Steve Nash", and was excited for him to play for the Clippers but all of a sudden he got traded. Wouldn't he be a good addition as a distributor-type PG?

PS: Korolev is playing for the Knicks summer league team!

I remember watching him in the past summer league game. He was virtually a non-factor on offense and gotten beaten really bad defensively since he wasn't much of an athletic guy. If you're not that athletic, then you can't make up for your lack of height, then that's bad.

Maybe I don't know what the heck I'm talking about, and if so, hopefully he can prove me wrong.

I hadn't seen much of him other than on our summer league team the year before last. He wasn't the best shooter and was a total liability on defense. He could distribute the ball well, but he didn't offer much more than that.

I think Jordan was playing in the D League last season.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Well, you don't get selected 45th without a reason. The odds of getting a diamond in the rough are pretty slim.

He has the deadly combination of being small and slow. Too bad, because I think he has the IQ to play point and is a good passer.
