I was looking into getting season tickets for the Clips. I was wondering if anyone here is a season ticket holder and where the best place to sit and the best way to get a good deal. Any advice would be great!

I was a season ticket holder in the 200 section for 3 years during the playoff run. I always felt there were great deals as a season ticket holder over being a individual game buyer. The team really does look out for its season ticket holders. Money is the main reason I dropped the seats since I just started a family but I would still have him if not for that issue. They have a range of prices usually so it just depends how much you want to spend. And if you hold out on their sales staff they usually can throw in some free things if you play hard to get. Hope that helps any.

This is our 7th season as Clippers Season Tix Holders, Call Paul Epstein (Inside Accounts-Season Tix)

Paul took over my account 2 years ago & fantastic would be an understatement.

Give him a call! he will be honest & helpful

Section 200 is great. Those are the two for one tickets. I really enjoyed my Account Exective Joe Kelly. He upgraded my seats several times, usually front or second row seats. he would have done it more frequently but I had four tickets.

Echo what everyone has said. The 200s are definitely the best deal. I was a season ticket holder for six years in the lower level. Never felt a need to move down. I stopped before last season as I couldn't make a majority the games due to kids, work... and was getting fed up with the poor product. Even if you can't swing a full season, they are aggressively pushing smaller packages. My old account rep calls me twice a week to get me back. I'm still holding out, but one more solid move (Sessions?) and they might pull me back in.

Were your seats in 207 a few seasons ago?

Yes, iIthink you and I talked about you getting some tickets off me because you were not going to be able to make the entire season but you ended up splitting with somebody else. If it's sorry for the confusion.

i had season tickets for two seasons (05-06 and 06-07) in the 200 section (either 207 or 217... i don't remember). posters have already mentioned that these sections provide the most value for your money if you exclude the horrible nosebleeds at staples. i have no complaints about customer service, other than the fact that my rep called me a little too frequently in order to convince me to renew my tickets/buy smaller packages. unfortunately, i really couldn't afford my seats anymore regardless of the increasing ticket prices and the product started getting really stale. having dibs on seats in case the team makes the playoffs is nice too.

i think a major issue is that unless you plan on going to almost all 45 games (including preseason) or so, you will likely lose money on games against bad to mediocre teams that you can't attend. because demand for these games are so low, there will be times when you will have to sell your tickets for less than what you personally paid for (i gave some games away for free because i couldn't sell them in time). on top of that, the clippers website needs to renovate their stubhub system because as is now, it's not user-friendly/advantageous enough for both buyers and sellers of individual season tickets to the point that there are better third-party options (ie. ebay). so basically if you want to curb some of your losses, you'll have to sell your premium games (lakers, celtics, cavaliers). i don't know how many times i sold my seats for these games because selling was just a better alternative than actually going to the game given the coin i could get for them.

i think it's worth it to mention that i had a much easier time/better prices selling my seats during their 05-06 playoff run than their disappointing 06-07 season. i'm not sure how well the squad will do this year, how high the demand to see their games will be, how many new/old fans blake griffin will attract, etc... all these factors will come in to play if you know you can't go to most of your games.

long story short: 200's are the best. sales reps throw too many sales pitches. demand is low. buyer beware.
