Suns fan here...

I know teams are reluctant to trade within the division but i feel both these teams could do buisness together if the right proposal comes up...
- Suns need a starting center, Clippers have 3 legit centers
- Clipps need an upgrade at SG over Ricky Davis and Mardy Collins
- Which scenario sounds better to you... J-Rich for either Camby, Kaman or D Jordan? We could throw in a filler to meet $ - Whatcha think?

Were not really looking for a scorer right now.
We need a utility man

Who are the Clips highest on between the 3 centers? I know Camby is the most expensive but Jordan looked pretty damn good at times last year and you know what you get w/ Kaman...

We are looking for more of a glue guy than a scorer. However, I do have an interest in one of your players. Not J-Rich, but Barbosa would fill in nicely on this team. Major upgrade over Ricky and Mardy, and can play the combo guard positions.

Barbosa and Gordon are very similar, i'd just stick w/ EC if i were you... I just figured your stocked w/ big-men and might want to clear one out though you already dumped Randolph. We need a 'center' badly

If we traded one of our big men for J Rich either Gordon would have to come off the bench or Richardson would have to play SF.

Gordon is not coming off the bench. That's for sure...

This wouldn't be to bad for Kaman, but I'd only do this if Richardson could start at SF. We need an upgrade at SF and I'd be quite happy with a 3 player rotation at SG and SF.

I'd still rather do a deal for Josh Howard, Shane Battier, or Gerald Wallace.

Kaman can not run with the Suns, he'd be tired in 2 quarters. Plus he'd airball layups after Nash sets him up perfectly. Kaman can only work in a slow offense that runs through the center, maybe like the Pistons. Just like that career season he had a couple years ago, we had a slow offense and EB was injured, so everything ran through him. I do like Earl Clark and Dragic though...

1) Yes we've got 3 centers, but one is pretty old and an expiring contract(which means, there are only two left next year), the other one's had some injury problems and the third guy's very young, inconsistant and still can't be counted on to produce a whole season.

2) We do not need an upgrade at SG, cause Eric Gordon's our starter there and he'll play about 35 minutes(at least) per game. That leaves about 10 minutes of PT for our back up, which won't be enough for Richardson and his huge contract. Also, the positon we still need and upgrade at is SF and Richardson isn't one.

3) None of those. If we do trade one of our centers(which excludes Jordan, cause he's young and cheap) it'd probably be for an upgrade at SF, cause Al Thornton alone won't cut it.

Though, i'd rather sign a cheaper SF(like Ime Udoka) instead of trading our depth at the C positon, which isn't all that deep, if you count in all those things i've listed above.

That's what they said about Shaq, but he had his best year since 04'

I would do it if Pho gives a future unprotected 1st rd within the next 4yrs.....if Clipps get lucky Pho might suck once Nash retires then could have a lottery pick.

Hell no we are trying to win the Clippers should not fill a need of a Freakin Division rival. The more the Suns can potentially struggle the better!

yes I agree that you shouldn't help a divion rival, but even if Suns got Kaman they would only succeed within Nash time there, which is 3 more years including up coming season. With Amare uncertainty and Pho craptacular management who knows how the team would look like in 3-4 yrs, a unprotected pick could be big, with a core of Gordon/Davis/Griffin, this team can be perenial playoff contenders by the time the pick could be had, Davis will probably be traded or retired and that pick could be BIG.

I'm sorry then I can't take watching a weak team anymore it's all about winning. We keep puting off winning waiting for young players and we will continue to suck. You want to be a winner franchise that attitude has to begin to change early.

Sasha Pavlovic's agent is exploring deals with three or four teams, and a deal could be struck as early as this week.
The Suns still own Pavlovic's rights, but fully intend to buy out his contract for $1.5 million -- by keeping him on the roster as long as possible, they reserve the right to work out a sign-and-trade.

We might be able to do business after all but not for any of our 3 C's.
