Really? I thought he was too inconsistent, especially in Summer League. I think a multi player trade is coming our way. That is why they had to waive him, to create space because we probably will not be exchanging players. we are probably going to rather use our TE. When all the smoke clears all of you doing the bashing are going to be doing the praising.

Summer LEague! Come on man Rule Number 1 of the NBA is NEVER EVER take SL serious. Mike has a strong season last season he showed flashes just like DJ did but Mike didn't have that many games to improve because of the injury.

This is what Phil Jackson blasted us for not developing our talent. Watch the Lakers get him and turn him into their own personal Aaron Brooks.

Can't say what's the reason behind this move outside of maybe there's another trade in the works. Otherwise could MT worked out as a third string PG?

Neither Telfair or Taylor are suitable backup PGs and backup for us doesn't just mean playing 10mpg but also starting 20-30 games a season during Baron's inevitable injury spells.

I hope this move portends finally acquiring one.

Not really because they just completed a trade and sign Warrick for 3 Mil.

My thoughts exacly. A couple of good games does not equate to a quality player.

Basically he was Third String to start with. At first it was Baron Davis/Jason Hart/Mike Taylor.

Taylor beat Hart for his spot and became the 2nd string SG. He didn't have a problem with being a 3rd string which made him more vaulable because we could look for a sure thing at the primary PG back-up. We can't be getting Sessions because I don't see Tel being happy as a 3rd string.

I think they can still match it and it looks like NY is preparing a bigger offer :o

If can't even dominate in Summer League how will he do well during the regular season around quality players? He almost committed the same amount of turnovers to assists.

There was no way he was going to be the 2nd string he was 3rd string he nows he needs to develop so we were looking for a back-up PG all offseason from A.I. to Telfair. Which makes waving him stupid because I don't se Telfair taking being a possible 3rd string silently

As reported by ESPN and New York writers. Just like Lamar was going to Miami.

Tons of players have bad SL's and bounce back. Taylor had a bad SL the season befor ebut Dunleavy went to Taylor when he needed a spark off the bench.

IT could be argued Taylor was one of the few people last season who tried consistently to play Defense

**** the FO! Just when I thought we were stringing together some nice moves, now this happens. So what if he had a bad SL? He still has some room to improve. I thought we had some chemistry building up between the young guys, and it looked like Taylor was a central piece. Now they ****ed up our core. I hope this doesn't negatively impact our young guys.
