Blake to throw first pitch at Dodgers game on 9/2/09

Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin, the first pick in this year’s NBA Draft out of Oklahoma University, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch at Wednesday’s game. In his final year at Oklahoma, Griffin was selected as the Naismith, Wooden, and AP Player of the Year as well as the consensus National Player of the Year. Fans can purchase tickets to the game at dodgers.com/clippers.

im not sure what happend,, i thought i was watching FSN coverage pregame and all the way up to beginning of game and i didnt see Blake throw out first pitch.. they interviewed him but i never saw the first pitch.. did anyone else catch it?

I heard that Blake and Matt Kemp are really good friends. Kemp apparently got a basketball scholarship to Oklahoma, but turned it down to play baseball.

Yep. Taylor and Matt were friends that played basketball together (AAU I'm assuming), and Blake was the little brother tagging along.
