NBA 2K10

Anybody play NBA 2K10? I got it for the PS3 and so far it's pretty good. The online is just not working yet, and the gameplay is about the same as 2K9. The biggest improvement is the "fluff" stuff, like the fancy overlay graphics, menus, intros, and a couple new game modes.
Best thing so far is the unique environments depending on the home court, which is the reason why I started this post. When you play at Staples with the Clippers, during random times you'll hear Clipper Darrell's "LET'S GO CLIPPERS, LET'S GO!" I thought that was pretty awesome when I heard it.
If you have it, what do you all think of the game. If you have NBA Live 2010, I'm curious to see what you think of that game, too.
* Just realized this might have been better in the community post.

NBA video games definitely deserve their own thread

I'm switching to 2K from Live but probably won't buy it for a month or two until I have time to play it. That is awesome to hear they have Clipper Daryl chants.

I haven't gotten 2k10 yet but I will soon. I've gotten every 2k that has come out so far. That's awesome if Clipper Darrell's chants are in 2k10

I hear there's a fair amount of bugs on the game at the moment, but I'm sure they'll be resolved over time. I'm anxiously waiting for the PC version which should come out within the next few days.. Officially Monday, but I'm sure there will be an early release somewhere. Too bad the games aren't cross platform to play with you console folks.

I'm gonna make myself and try to be the Clipper's backup PG behind Baron. I'll probably be like an Earl Boykins/Nate Robinson type. Score first point guard, but I'll still try to get my teammates involved. Gotta let DJ, BG, and EJ take control of the game too.

Hey Scratch, I'll add you tonight. We should start a Team-Up crew on PS3! I had 2K9 on XBOX but decided to switch to PS3 because the competition on XBOX sucked and 90% of the players disconnected before the game was over. I'm hoping the players on PS3 have better etiquette.
Fish - There are definitely a bunch of bugs with the online stuff, so far the offline single player / create-a-player stuff is fine.
BTW, Blake Griffin is a beast in the game, and DeAndre is a monster dunker. I love playing with the Clips!

Got 2k10 for the 360. Really liking it so far. Smoother style of play in this game compared to 2k9.

I have the game for the 360 but I haven't popped it open yet. I hope to upload my DC prospect, White Howard. Yes, he's a white man's version of Dwight Howard. I'll play it within the hour though. hehe.

My cousin told me that our players on the roster aren't rated that high, what are the players ratings this year?

I will receive it this weekend or early next week, depending on how long it takes to be shipped from England to Germany. Playing it on PS3, of course.
Though, i doubt that we'd be able to play against each other thanks to those two different versions for North America(NTSC) and Europe(PAL).

I'm glad to see most people have PS3 since that is the system I use.

2k lowered all player ratings this year o superstars could well be "super". From my memory the ratigns are:
Baron - 82
Griffin - 77
Camby - 74
Kaman - 72
Gordon - 72
Telfair - 67
Thornton - 66
Davis - 63
Smith - 62
Butler - 61
Collins - 56
DeAndre - 56
Skinner - 54?
Novak - 47 (but he has a 96 3 pt rating)

What kind of ratings are those, I dunno what's up at 2k

I don't think it's bad. The ratings were dropped for all players, and the overall ratings don't matter much in this game. Novak will still drill those 3 pointers even with that 47 overall rating, but will suck at everything else. It kinda makes more sense. Just ignore the overall rating, and focus on the others to see what each player is good at.

Yup here's the thread. Before looking at the list, just remember this is what the community wants the 2K team to look into. Not all of the things listed are actual bugs. It's a mix of bugs and what people want changed.
http://2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236237I think Ron from the 2K forums said a patch will be released in a week or two, maybe three. I forget.

To be honest, I've played both the 2K and Live demos and I think Live is better this year. The controls are really smooth...but that's just me.
