Win or lose, I hope the team puts a good effort. If they don't and we get spanked by 30 points, there better be a change like a new coach or AI signing.

Especially since it's on national TV...

Not sure if I'll be watching the game. My Clipper boner disappeared since we blew that 22 point lead against Toronto. Having EJ back might draw some interest since it'll make us much more competitive though. Let's hope he plays in this game.

All I ask is that our team play as hard as they can since it's on national t.v.

Any word on Camby's back??

I don't want to push either EJ or Camby on to the floor if it would exacerbate their problems, but it surely would help to make the game more watchable if they are out there on the floor tonight.

Like most of you have mentioned I would like to see a good effort, I haven't seen much of that this season so far.

For MD's sake. It best to come soon. Otherwise, the rumblings of his potential removal as coach will come to reality.

Nice game thread. I read on yahoo's game preview where Camby is doubtful, and Gordon will be out until Monday.

We are just hoping to avoid a blowout.

I've got to tape the game and watch it tomorrow morning --- so I'm really hoping it will be worth waiting and watching.
Come on, those of you Clippers who are still able-bodied.
(Seems to me this is an all-too-familiar situation, too many of the stalwarts out with injuries game after game.)

It looks like Butler is headed to the bench in favor of Ricky Davis. Also, Camby is active tonight. Gordon will likely play on Monday vs Minny.

Ricky Davis is starting, which means an automatic loss.

Ralph and Mike were suspended from tonight's game for their comments regarding Hamed Haddadi in the previous game. :(

Seriously? **** it then, I'm watching the ESPN broadcast.

I missed the game, but what exactly did they say about Haddadi if anyone remembers?

Here is the exchange:

Smith: “Look who’s in.”

Lawler: “Hamed Haddadi. Where’s he from?”

Smith: “He’s the first Iranian to play in the NBA.” (Smith pronounced Iranian as “Eye-ranian,” a pronunciation that offended the viewer who complained.)

Lawler: “There aren’t any Iranian players in the NBA,” repeating Smith’s mispronunciation.

Smith: “He’s the only one.”

Lawler: “He’s from Iran?”

Smith: “I guess so.”

Lawler: “That Iran?”

Smith: Yes.

Lawler: “The real Iran?”

Smith: “Yes.”

Lawler: “Wow. Haddadi – that’s H-A-D-D-A-D-I.”

Smith: “You’re sure it’s not Borat’s older brother?”

Smith: “If they ever make a movie about Haddadi, I’m going to get Sacha Baron Cohen to play the part.”
Lawler: “Here’s Haddadi. Nice little back-door pass. I guess those Iranians can pass the ball.”

Smith: “Especially the post players.

Lawler: “I don’t know about their guards.”

I got a chuckle reading that, but don't really understand it. Oh well though.

Can't believe how empty Staples is, but the crowd seems pretty equal to the other squads. Atrocious start to the game but Thornton is playing some decent defense.

It's Friday night, we have disgusted fans, 2 of our best players are out and nobody wants to pay to see us get blown out on national tv. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
